The product is phenomenal, I ordered the original 6 and 3/4 size for my 2019 Ram 1500 and it was perfect. Correct size, great quality, flexible yet sturdy, installed in 10 seconds, AMAZING reception and clarity (at least for my rural area). The color/style isn’t going to win the best dressed award, as it’s simply rubber, but the functionality is what counts and it sure makes up for the simple look. Overall looks great on the truck, and has worked wonders. I’ve even gone through the car wash a few times, not a single issue running it through! Worth the money by all means. Not sure where the negative reviews came from.

With some of the negative reviews about it not getting any signal compared to the stock "whip" antenna, I figured, worst case, I'll just return it as non-functioning. Withing a couple of minutes, I had the "whip" off and this shorter one on. No discernible signal drop. I live in the mountains where signal dropping off my cellphone is just a way of life but my truck radio still comes in loud and clear. No drop. No "fuzzy" reception. It looks awesome and works great. I haven't taken it through a car wash yet but I can imagine it will handle the process better than the "whip". I would buy another and do recommend it. Update: I've taken it through some carwashes near me and no issues at all. The reception is seemingly exactly as good as it was with the "whip". Everywhere I go the reception is just as it was before. Very happy with it and no whip just waiting to get bent!

My stereo straight off the lot had bad reception? It was a big long metal antenna. I removed it and installed this one. Wow what a difference, it was getting annoying songs coming in and out. So far it’s great and it’s smaller a lot. I love it and would definitely recommend great price. Easy to install seems durable and works great. Thank you 😊

Quick and simple modification to replace the obnoxiously large factory antenna that looks like it should be on a 1980’s Caprice Classic. I have experienced no issues with satellite radio or FM radio reception. There is a slight gap from the base even with the included spacer. It doesn’t sit 100% flush. Not horrible, but the overall application could be done a bit better. Some folks pickier than me would gripe hard about it. Pictures show the product on my truck. Overall a solid purchase. I’m happy with it.

This looks so much better than the factory antenna. I love it. As the specs state, though, the reception you get is not quite as good though. I noticed the factory antenna did really well pulling in AM stations, and with this antenna I lose a lot of that. A few FM stations are a bit more difficult to come by, too. Honestly, though, I'm totally fine with that because this antenna looks so much better with the truck. I also had zero issuses taking it through a carwash. One thing I'll note is that I used the little black washer that came with it to make it look more continuous without gaps, and in doing so I didn't need to screw down the antenna as much as I would have without the washer. This worried me a bit about whether it would spins off, being too loose, or snap off more easily, but that hasn't seemed to be the case

Pleasantly surprised. I tested my radio signal for my 2016 Ram 1500 with no antenna and lost two of my favorite stations, but kept many of the local stations at low quality sound. When I installed the 6 3/4 antenna, not only did I regain all stations, but sound clarity improved. Not what I expected. For me, the antenna outperformed my OEM whip. I live 30 minutes outside of Minneapolis. I have not driven to rural areas with this antenna. I purchased this antenna more to get rid of the OEM whip and get a low profile black antenna, so my expectations of radio signal performance were low. Still, this turned out to be well worth the money.

Je voulais remplacer l'antenne énorme d'origine sur mon Ram 1500 2017. Pour le prix la finition extérieure n'est pas à la hauteur, mais franchement je m'en moque. Tant que le look général soit meilleur et que je ne perde pas en qualité de réception radio, ce qui est le cas... Donc OK pour moi

Easy install took less then 5 minutes. Reception is still good like factory. Worth it if you are sick and tired of the giant metal antenna.
