I really like this rice spoon.
At first I wasn't sure about the standing rice cooking spoon as I grew up with the traditional spoon that you lay on the counter. I have learned the merit of having the standing spoon in that it is more sanitary, takes less space and the counters no longer get sticky from the rice paste on the spoon. The spoon is easy to clean. I like the spoon so much that I picked up several of them in Japan to pass out as gifts.

It's okay.
I thought it wouldn't melt so easily. I truly loved it until that point. It's not too small and not too big.
