Wahl Professional Animal Competition Blade, 2355-100, 30

I do not use this blade on the dogs as it is very close to a surgical blade and cuts too close to the skin. Instead, I ordered this blade to use with my clipper combs. It provides a nice sharp cut but is protected with the comb attachments from having contact with the dogs skin. Wahl is a very good and professional brand as well.

PROFESSIONAL GROOMER. Very disappointed in these blades. Bought 2 and both were not sharp out do the box. Tried on two different sets of clippers. New blade drive in one. Got Andis blades the next day and they both worked perfectly. Save your money.

I have doodles, and I’m trying to learn to groom them myself. Not because I think it sounds fun but because paying to groom your dogs every two months is expensive! Before buying this blade, I was attempting to use combs on top of a 10 blade. This one works much better- and doesn’t struggle as much to slice through that coarse curly hair. Am I a pro yet? No…but it’s a good start :).

This blade is super sharp and is the first on Size 30. Really reluctant to use it since I am a home groomer but have several mats I need to get and a 10 just would not do it.
