I had my doubts when ordering but this is quite an ingenious piece of work. It was simple to install and use by viewing the pictures and video displayed on the Amazon page. Fully assembled, the controller still fits in the bag that came with my Air 2 Fly More kit. My 9th generation iPad fits easily and appears to be held securely. I tested operation with both included cables using both my iPad and my Android phone and they both work. If I offset the ipad, even the short lightning cable that came with the DGI combo kit reaches giving me an emergency spare cable. Caveat: when the mount is closed and folded over the controller it seems a little stiff to open. You will want to open it carefully pulling slowly from both sides. This is just a precaution as it may be fine and even loosen with use but since it is plastic it is better to use a little care. Disclosure: I have not used it to fly extensively. All I did was take off indoors for a short while and checked operation of the flight sticks. It was REALLY nice being able to use the big iPad screen rather than the phone. Summary: Based on my initial test use, I’d buy it again in a second. It is an impressive product at a bargain price.

Good product because works well, very easy to install and use, my iPad fits perfectly with no play or any movement. Cords are long enough to reach so no complaints. Just be nice with it. I LIKE!

While I liked the design because it's quite easy to set up, the lanyard attachment makes it physically impossible to actually close the holder, unlike what's shown in the video. I even disassembled it from my controller, and re-installed it to see if maybe I was making a mistake. Oh, and by the way, there are no instructions! Not hard to figure out though. Anyway, once I got it all back together, I confirmed that A: You simply can't collapse the holder completely, due to the lanyard clip hole, and B: The video was totally misleading and done purposely. Which is a shame, because all they had to do was tweak the lanyard part! The rest of the unit was great! But, Y'all make your own choices, but I'm done with this company. I'll be contacting them regarding a return, and I'll follow up on the response. Then I'll start looking for another good quality Ipad holder that works! UPDATE: I was harsh. In hindsight, I'm actually impressed with the ease of installation and performance of this item. I still don't like the deceptive video, BUT: I can live without a lanyard, and the rest of the unit works quite well, holding my 2018 Ipad securely. Without the lanyard peice, the arm does indeed fold down nicely. Rather than return the item, I'll use it without that peice.

I switched from using my phone to a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite because I was having a hard time seeing the screen clearly, especially in bright light. The bigger screen made a difference right away. I’m not squinting or guessing anymore. I can actually see where I’m flying and what the camera is doing without fighting the screen. This holder is what made that setup work. It attaches without taking anything apart and holds the tablet in a position that feels natural while flying. Now, if you’re using this with a SkyRover X1, there is one thing to know. It does not fit perfectly out of the box. I had to do a small modification where it attaches to the antenna. I used a Dremel tool and widened the slot on the top and bottom so it would clear the ridges on the SkyRover controller. The DJI controllers have grooves that line up and lock in when you tighten it down, but the SkyRover has longer ridges, so it doesn’t seat the same way without opening that slot up a bit. Once I made that adjustment, it fit and held fine. I also noticed the added weight with the tablet mounted. You feel it pretty quickly in your hands. Using the included lanyard takes that load off and makes longer flights a lot more comfortable. I also paid attention to how that weight sits above the antenna since everything is mounted up there. Overall, this has been a solid upgrade for how I fly. Being able to clearly see what’s going on makes everything easier.

Great product for mounting my 11 inch M5 iPad Pro to my DJI controller. Easy to install. Bought used and was missing couple of items, but I guess that’s expected when buying open box. Otherwise it works great and I’m highly satisfied that I can use my iPad to live view my drone instead of using my phone.

Item shipped same day. Item received exactly as described. Instructions were on point and all accessories fit perfect. Its nice having that extra screen when flying. works with my ipad gen 8 and gives me a bigger screen to view. Others have mentioned the need to carefully fit the clamp onto your controller, and take care to snug down the screws. Once fitted however it is easy to use. As for foldability, you have to remove the neck strap first before it will fold flat against your controller.

The holder itself is great and easy to install. Comes with a neck strap. That stuff is very good and it stays on and stores very well. THE EXTENDED CABLE IT COMES WITH IS JUNK!! Will not allow you to connect your device, my guess is it’s not a high speed cable. When connected to my phone with that cable the phone says “can not connect device because it draws too much power” used my Apple usb-c to usb-c cable and it connects to the tablet perfectly fine.

works perfectly for my 10" samsung galaxy tablet. very stable, great product! now i can watch my drone through a giant screen. its amazing.

An excellent bit of kit. I bought this tablet holder so that I could use my Samsung Galaxy A9+ 11" tablet with the RC-N1C controller for my DJI Mini 4K drone. It was worth every penny. There is a secure clip that fits onto the RC and the lanyard clips onto it. The tablet holder itself is attached to the pull out antenna. It is held in place by tightening the screws in the double clamps at the base of the holder using the supplied hex screwdriver. This does not damage the RC antenna in any way, nor interfere with the signal. You can fold the tablet holder down over the lanyard plate. It looks like the designers have listened to previous comments, and made a hole to go over the lanyard loop. Unfortunately, with the tablet holder connected to the RC, even when folded down, it won't fit in my custom, form-fitted foam tray in my carry case, so I have to remove the tablet holder when I want to transport it. Overall, I am happy with how it performs. The quality of the material is great. It matches the colour of the DJI remote exactly. It is strong and sturdy and it holds my tablet firmly in place, even with its protective case on. It doesn't overbalance the RC that much, and I love having the bigger screen when it comes to piloting my drone and capturing amazing footage for my Facebook and YouTube videos.
