Remington Braided Rope Snap Dog Leash

A friend left an old green Remington leash at our house by accident and I liked it so much that I wanted one for our dog. I couldn't find the green at the time, so I got this orange one since I didn't care what color it was. I noticed right away that it didn't seem the same quality as the old green one, but was hoping it would at least hold up like that one has.It's now a year in and I'm sorry to say this is not the same at all. We live in a dry climate and whereas the old green leash was soft and worn with time, this one has gotten dry and brittle. I grabbed it yesterday to lead my dog to her bath and now have several nylon splinters embedded in my hand from the leash drying out and fraying. Ouch.Keep in mind, this isn't even our main leash. I only use it for grooming and maintenance of my dog. The only times it's even been outside is if I'm brushing my dog in nice weather.I'm pretty disappointed in this purchase as I'll be throwing out what looks like a brand new leash, but feels painful to the touch.

I was very excited to see that they offered a braided leash in orange as we have a different Remington leash in a different color! I had loved our other leash and wanted a orange one to go with my dogs collar! It was a brighter orange than I thought it was but it still goes with his collar! I have had it this one for a week and our other one for a year. The old one still looks new and we have had zero issues with it!

I bought one of these in an ugly green color at my local tractor supply It was 30$ and it lasted forever so when I seen it here in a beautiful bright orange for a 1/3 of the price I jumped on it and boy Im glad I did. thanks remmington!!

Dog leash dependable and sleek. Arrived in time

While this leash is ok, I don't think it is going to hold up. The areas where it is looped is connected with a faux leather material. I have a 110 lb dog and if he were to pull often enough I don't think it will hold. I dont use it for that reason. It probably is fine for a smaller dog. The length is great.

Good weight and size leash for an English bulldog. I like the blaze orange color too. Visible in low light. Not reflective but good contrast color.
