I was expecting a quality usb-c adapter from the reviews I read. I used it for a pixel phone and while when it worked, the quality was okay when taking phone calls or listening to music. But after a year, it just stopped working without any noticeable damage or wear (see photo).

I'm disappointed at this Cubilux DAC + 3.5mm USB-C adapter. After about a month I started having issues with the audio cutting in and out. I reached out to Cubilux Support which has been painfully slow in responding. In the interim I picked up a JCALLY JM6 Pro which is just slightly more expensive but the quality is notably better without any issues. Audio is much clearer and cleaned with the Jcally and lower bitrate audio is far less tinny. It is worth the extra money to get one with an amplifier chip as well as a good DAC.

UPDATE (NO PHOTO): Returned the item, seller sent replacement with the correct item promptly. In the process I had purchased another adapter. Both work on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. However, with this adapter I did notice that sound, call and the over all build quality wasn't as good with this adapter. With that said, it works and the quality of the audio/calls is good just not great like my other adapter. The other adapter is also a dollar cheaper, however these are shorter and more flexible, and that may be a good thing. Time will tell with durability. OLD REVIEW (PHOTO RELATED): I guess if I had a use for this like pumping audio into my cell phone, this would be useful. However, as you can see from the picture from the seller this should be a USB C connector that goes into your phone at 1 end and a female 3.5mm receptacle at the other to plug your headphones in. As you can see from the picture I uploaded, this is USB C at one end and a male 3.5mm at the other. I quite simply wanted a way to connect my wired headphones to my new Galaxy Note 10+ as advertised. This arrived the day before a heavy travel schedule, greatly limiting my ability to use my new phone

With the newer iPads not having a dedicated audio port, I needed a way to use my stash of wired earphones. I have been very pleased with this adapter. In fact, I've been so pleased, we recently bought a second unit. Its well constructed and most importantly, it doesn't inhibit sound quality.
