An phone RJ11 will plug into the center of an RJ45 jack, if using a phone over CAT5 lines.

Q: Are these 4 wire connectors? I need at least 4 wire

They are 8 wire "cat 5e", straight through. However, they don't actually rate out to cat 5e. The one's that worked were only 100mb capable. About half the ones I ordered didn't work, so I would say pick another brand.
