This works really well to repair some holes in the ceiling where some pipework had been removed. You do need to provide your own filler. I just use some poly filler.

I needed to fill a hole in the ceiling where a ceiling rose used to be. I’m no expert DIY’er but this product was amazing. Easy to use with simple instructions. Comes with 2 applicators and 2 “circles” of sandpaper for prepping the hole. All you need is some good quality joint and filler compound, fine grit sandpaper and paint to finish the job and you’re at the races. Some reviewers are saying there’s didn’t come with compound/plaster and there’s a reason for that - no where does it say it does.

After removing old bathroom wall tiles to replace them I discovered a couple of holes (a fist sized one and 2 slightly smaller ones) in the plasterboard wall. These patches seemed a good price and would cover the various hole sizes. Each patch comprises of a square of aluminium mesh with a sticky plastic mesh over the top. This is about 1 inch larger than the aluminum square. Cons - none of them were sticky enough to stay on the wall so I ended up glueing them on. Pros - quite rigid once stuck in place and with some filler applied. I definitely think the sticky mesh needs to be larger.... 2 inches bigger than the aluminium mesh would be ideal. It would also be helpful if the sticky mesh was actually sticky.!

Great starter set. I had quite a fair bit of holes and the mesh wall repair were great , order more meshes separately Do not cut mesh doesnt stick well if you cut into size
