Load cell is a 3 wire, not a 4 wire.
I am building a wind tunnel for my school so we can do some aerodynamic experiments and got the load cell and hx711 to be our data outputs for whatever model we wanted to load into the wind tunnel. I was expecting to get a 4 wire load cell as is shown in every picture of the product. However, when the product arrived the load cell only had 3 wires. I am not an electronics guru and was expecting what was pictured so I could use a youtube tutorial to rig it to an arduino. Sadly I have no idea how to rig the 3 wire load cell and am very frustrated by being sent a product which was not as pictured. The HX711 chip is good and works fine though. I was lucky enough to be able to pull a 4 wire load cell from another piece of equipment which I did not feel like breaking though.
