Best UV resin I have used!
I make small batches of one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and accessories. This resin is perfect for that. It cures very well under UV light. This is a great resin for beginners! Very easy to use, it is very clear, and has very little air bubbles. Here are some tips and tricks for those of you just getting started with UV resin and to make sure you get the best results: Make sure you are using a transparent mold and cure from both sides. I do not recommend using any opaque molds. (Opaque molds are typically the pink or blue ones you see at here on Amazon, but they can come in other colors too.) There are a ton of transparent molds here on Amazon, just search for “UV Resin Mold” specifically. A majority of the molds I use have come from here. They will be clear to milky white, but clear enough for light to go through one side to the other. If you don’t use transparent molds, you will not be able to cure from both sides, and will have issues with your pieces fully curing. I also spray my molds with 91% rubbing alcohol, which helps to cut down on micro bubbles significantly. I also lightly mist 91% rubbing alcohol over the top once I have cast my molds to further rid my casts of any additional micro-bubbles, and then use a heat gun over the top for any stubborn bubbles, if there are any. (Note: Do not use a lighter over the top for bubbles if you spray them with alcohol!) Also, make sure you don’t spray too much alcohol, or it may take longer to cure under the UV light. My thickest pieces are typically less than a quarter inch thick, so curing time can vary from 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the density of mix-ins along with the thickness of the mold, and how many times I cure both front & back. Once I de-mold my pieces, I cure them on both sides under the UV light one more time to make sure they have cured all the way through. Speaking of mix-ins, make sure you are not using opaque dyes, mica powders, or too much opaque glitter. If light can’t get through the piece, it will not cure. I typically use transparent dyes along with glitter that is transparent polyester (no metal). It’s OK to throw a few little pieces that are not transparent into the mix, the key is making sure the mix isn’t entirely made up of opaque items or opaque dyes, otherwise, your items will not cure in the middle and turn out soft or “bendy”. I prefer UV resin over traditional resin, because I have such a small work area, and work with small items and small batches. UV resin makes it a lot easier for me to get through everything in one shot, rather than having to find a place for everything to sit while I wait 24 to 48 hours for everything to cure before I can de-mold. (Instant gratification!!) No resin is ever fume free, but the fumes from this resin is very light compared to others I have used. It smells very similar to a nail salon that does gel nails & acrylics. I highly recommend using in a well-ventilated area, using a respirator, and wearing gloves. Due to some of my pieces being extra small and needing precision, admittedly, I sometimes go without gloves, but I work right next to a sink and I am constantly washing my hands as soon as anything gets on them. I would not recommend UV resin for doing thicker pieces such as pyramids or larger clear orbs, pieces such as trays or boxes, or items with deeper molds. 2-part resin would work best for these. (And would be more cost-effective.) For jewelry pieces, key rings, hair clips, and other small items in smaller quantities, it is an excellent resin! I have tried many other resin brands, and this resin gets top marks for curing, clarity, and price! I hope this review helps some you just getting started with UV resin. Happy creating!

No sticky finish, cures fast and hard!
Wow! Simply the best UV resin I have used for a fishing lure clear finish. Perfect viscosity that lays down smoothly with a brush, self-levels, and cures hard and clear with zero tacky or sticky residue, in much less time than every other resin I have used. Amazing value that vastly outperforms premium brands that are priced much higher. So glad I tried it; the glowing reviews are warranted.

I Keep Buying
I love working with the YIEHO 300g UV Resin, Upgraded Hard Type Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin. One of my many crafting interests, I love the flexibility this allows in jewelry making. I get more compliments than I can even count and when I tell people what my jewelry is actually made of and that I've made it myself, people are amazed. This is a definite comment on the resin quality. The cost is very affordable, and it goes quite a long way. I've found I the curing time varies depending on the ink/pigment used; usually 3 minutes more or less. Once it's completely cured, it's not tacky at all. I do make sure to use it in a well-ventilated area as necessary for odor-control of all resin. This is at least my 2d order of this specific brand and will continue to buy when needed.

First and favorite
This is the first UV resin I’ve bought. So I can’t compare it to any other brand. I will say, it met my expectations and is very easy to use. It does some pulling away from the edges when doming baked polymer clay. But since I’ve learned a technique that keeps it from doing that. It’ll also pull away when you take a lighter to it to pop the bubbles. This is a pro as it helps me to know whether I have applied a thick enough layer to whatever I’m coating. When doing deep bezels, it’s best to apply in layers as it cures better in thinner layers. Considering it’s UV resin, this mild inconvenience still makes it easier to use than standard resin. It’s clear from pour to cure. If you haven’t cured it properly, fingerprints will cloud the resin. Another properly cured thin coat fixes this issue. When using clear molds, it likes to climb up the walls of the mold (meniscus) creating a dent in the top side. Just dome the resin after removing it from the mold and you’re good to go. I don’t recommend sanding. It’s a pain. Though you can, just apply a thin coat to get rid of the frosted glass look, unless you like it. Add to a black fine tipped bottle for use in small areas or prep a piece of baked clay that’s going to be domed. This bottle lasts months with moderate use. I make jewelry (pics) and eyes for air dry clay sculptures, so it’s taking me awhile to get through this bottle. Larger projects will take more resin and may make the bottle last a shorter time. I bought more so I can make a full rune set. Oh, 1 last thing, it takes mica and resin dye very well, even the opaque black and white. Just be mindful of thin layers. Clean up can be done with alcohol or Clorox wipes. I like the coconut ones. ☺️

Dries Fast, Clear, and Beginner Friendly
Easy to use and quick. It gives a clear, hard finish that's great for things like jewelry and keychains. It's ready to go right out of the bottle. It hardens fast under a UV lamp or bright sunlight and dries in a few minutes. It is sticky, so be sure to wear gloves and use it in a well-aired room because of a slight smell before it's cured. . The final result: a glass-like surface that's strong and durable for everyday items. Its simplicity makes it perfect for beginners. Bubbles can happen, and are easy to remove with a little heat before you cure the resin.

Easy to use
First time using resin. Bought to restore a tinker bell who was left outside for 10 years and lost her wings. Took me a few tries but I finally got it. Easy to work with and I’m satisfied with the results. I love there was no mixing.

Consigliato.

Perfect for Jewellery Making, Works Brilliantly!
This UV resin does its job perfectly. I used it for epoxy jewellery and the results turned out amazing. It cures quickly under UV light and leaves a beautiful, glossy finish. The resin is clear with no bubbles, which makes the pieces look professional. It’s easy to work with and has a smooth consistency. My jewellery came out strong, shiny, and exactly how I wanted. I’m very happy with the quality and will definitely buy it again for future projects!
