Q: Is there enough in the tube to seal three sides of a 5' tub?

I could only seal around the base of one toilet with only one tube. For your case, I'd probably estimate that you need at least 2 tubes!

Q: What plastics can i use this on? will it chemically deteriorate the plastic stand on my tv?

Not sure. I used it in my tub. Not sure what kind of plastic my tub is made of but worked great.
