It has been a short time but... I love this device. Was diagnosed with 'tech neck' years ago. Working at a computer screen. Have since done many things to alleviate that condition and have been successful.However, this back and neck massager will make care and maintenance SO much easier. Had one of those nagging pinched nerves behind the shoulder blade.. you know the kind... once in eons type thing. I used this device and was amazed and gratified with how deep and effective it was.We have had other back massagers throughout the years. Had a not inexpensive Sharper Image massage chair. I can say this Nekteck back and neck massager is far more effective than that chair ever was.It can work very deep and can see how some would not like this. But can say, the neck area has a thin pillow type thing that calms the deep massaging down, one can place a towel over the middle and lower back if needed, and the controller allows for a couple of settings to ease things, or really go deep.Seriously love this back and neck massager. As said, it will make care and maintenance on an already restored and feeling pretty good back... but make that care and maintenence much faster and easier.

UPDATE! Medcursor replaced my Shiatsu Back Massager, and everything now works as it should! Finally, relief and comfort. I am so happy that it was not an issue related to the brand, but only to a specific unit.Everyone in my house has been so happy with its benefits that we often line up to use it…. with cool off down time between users of course! They sure are a stand up company and I appreciate their transparency and honesty as well as being a small business that is worth supporting! -JenKress, 0125,2022**Please take this review with a grain of salt, as it is solely based on MY personal experience while using the Medcursor Shiatsu Back Massager. We already own their massage gun and it is used constantly for recovery and more. I hoped this back massager would become a staple as well.I will preface this review by saying that I had major surgery early 2021 and have been on “rest and recovery” for a prolonged period of time. When your muscles are not regularly exercised and your body is in stasis, everything weakens and just begins to hurt, all the time, in places it never has before. The pain in your trouble areas is exacerbated.Recently, I began to MOVE again, and everything hurt in different ways too. So, testing out this back massager came at an opportune time. I started slow, with low settings, vibration and heat. I didnt want to move it felt so good, in a painful way. (When I get massages, its a deep tissue massage.) But on my second round, I began to notice the mechanisms that actually massage hit me in places that really made me uncomfortable. I tried adjusting the way I sat as well as the height settings for the neck massage and I just could not get comfortable. I’m 5’3” and its just too tall for me to utilise all aspects of the massage. I have had to forego the neck massage (which I really need), because it feels like it bruises my bones.I continue to test the regular and shiatsu features to see which I prefer and am still undecided. If you have knots in your muscles and weakness such as I do, then be careful. Several times I have felt battered for days after using the massager. Small doses and self care will help.On a separate note, my son who is 6’2” has used the back massager (he is a college baseball player and very active) and does not have most of the issues that I do. However, he does complain about the neck massage being too intense as well. It seems to focus more on the sides of the neck and base of the skull rather than the upper trapezius muscle in the shoulder/neck area where most tension is carried.I know this is not a replacement for actual massage therapy, so I am not banging the massager for not having trained hands. lol I am just being realistic and honest about my experience. I will continue to use it and hope that my very active family will as well.** update, 0102,2022 **Medcursor customer support is sending out a replacement back massager. I will revise my review once I receive it and see if things go better. Excellent customer service!

I’ve had this massage chair pad for over a week and can’t say enough great things about it thus far.. I’ve tried several other pads, some lower in price and some higher, and I feel confident in saying this pad offers the best value and, most importantly, best feel. The pad is very sturdy (I’m 6’2 and 240 pounds), has 2D/3D massage, variable seat vibration, heat, and a very effective neck massager!! The seller also followed up to ensure I was happy with my purchase, so it’s been a great transaction - start to finish - so far!!

Great massager and very impressive amount of functionality for a non-chair unit (meaning portable and not the giant ones you see in Sharper Image / Brookstone / Costco). I've actually been using this leaned up against a wall because it's easer than setting it up on a chair where I would never take it down :-). Back massager function is strong and has a nice zone selection feature, though I would possibly prefer a targeted mode where can move it to a set spot to work on tough knots. The predefined upper/lower zones are well-located, however. Neck massager is nice, and I appreciate the up/down control for users of different heights, or when you want it to dig a little deeper into your shoulders. Sometimes when the back roller is doing upper back work, my neck can be somewhat out of reach of the neck rollers, but I feel like that's a fair compromise given how far the neck unit protrudes already. Heat is a nice function and starts working quickly. Always impressed with this company's products!

It has provided much pain relief for my back, neck, shoulders, and sacroiliac joints. I suffer chronic pain, and this device has helped so much that I am able to walk better and do yard work. The only thing I don't like is that the heat option isn't working. I may need it replaced.Update: I got it replaced, the heat worked but was not very warm at all. The back massager had a mind of it's own in terms of where it would massage. The 3rd time i used it, i pressed the heat button and the back massager stopped working completely. It's busted. I am disappointed and will be returning the device hopefully for a full refund.

Best at home massager EVER!I have every back and neck gadget out there, plus a chiropractor. This chair massager is A1 is top notch. I was pleasantly surprised how good it felt. Released tension and pain in my back and neck.Works the whole back, with options to focus on part of back if needed.The remote control is very helpful so you can stay in your position and make changes to the massage as needed.Deep tissue and not painful at all.Definitely worth ever penny!!!
