I like it

This is so good that perhaps it’s a bit too good. Keeps tea hot for so long that it takes ages for it to be drinkable especially if the lid is left on. It also doesn’t fit in my cup holder in the van which I would say is a very standard size. Can’t knock the product though. Really good piece of kit, but a couple of things to keep in mind if purchasing.

Sinds ik hem heb, heb ik hem iedere dag gebruikt. Het is echt een perfecte thermo beker die je drankje lang warm, en nog veel langer koud houd. Let wel op, als je op zoek bent naar een reisbeker zoekt die je zo in je tas kan gooien, dan is dit niet de beker voor jou. Als je een anti-lek beker zoekt, deze loopt bij omvallen gewoon leeg, al is het minder snel. Voor die toepassingen heeft Camelbak hele mooie andere producten.

A 12oz size and shape is perfect for adult beverages. My ice cold freshies fit with just a wee bit of room to spare. I didn't want a big honkin 16oz mug. And certainly not a 20oz. A can/bottle of beer is 12oz. I haven't tested how long drinks stay cold because they don't last very long. I have average sized woman's hands (glove size medium). It fits nicely in my hand. I do wish it had been a bit taller and narrower, but it's not a deal breaker. I like that it's wider at the top (and not straight up and down like a rocks glass). It's shaped more like a pint glass. Only, you know, 12oz. I actually don't like the rubber bottom. I understand the theory behind it,, but it makes it hard to sliiiiide the mug from point A to B when it just becomes too difficult to lift it up. The color was perfect - just as pictured in the listing. The lid is ok. Splash-proof, but definitely not spill-proof. The three-setting slider is pointless to me, but maybe hardcore travel coffee drinkers love it. I didn't buy it to drink coffee out of, but I have. I've even taken my coffee, with the lid, for a test drive. For science. My coffee stayed nice and hot down to the last glug (within 30ish minutes).

I have purchased way too many keeper cups in my lifetime trying to find that perfect one. In between sizing issues having weird tastes or smells because of the plastic that they use I can honestly say this Cup and this brand is the only one I use from now on. The quality of the camelbak cup and its construction have stood the test of time as it still looks brand new. For me, the lid is perfect as the plastic doesn't have a smell or a taste which makes my coffee more enjoyable. They also have the option of purchasing replacement leads if you break or damage yours like I have done for $10 aud. I would recommend this Cup to anybody whether you're in an office or you're taking it camping.
