FILCO Majestouch Convertible 2 TKL (Cherry MX Blue) Keyboard

This keyboard with the blue switch has a wonderful springy feel, at least as good as the old IBM Model M, which is the gold standard for those of us who like a really responsive keyboard, and is what I use at home. The new Filco weighs less than half what the Model M does, so it's more feasible to bring it along when I travel (I've never met the notebook/laptop keyboard I could tolerate).I am very well satisfied with this gem. I use it plugged in, so don't know much about the battery life. And I haven't had it long enough to be sure of durability. But I'm giving both good marks because everything else about this is excellent, so I'm betting those are, too.

This keyboard is fantastic and very high quality.For those who might be experiencing issues with repeated letters or connectivity, make sure to use the most recent version of Bluetooth. I tried this keyboard with two laptops and the older one with older Bluetooth did have some issues like others reviewers mention.Otherwise, I highly recommend this keyboard!

Can not recommend this to anyone. Within the first month, I started to notice phantom keystrokes. 4 months later, the issue still occurs. If I'm using the keyboard for more than an hour, it will lock up or disallow all key strokes until I reboot the computer (unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in does nothing to help this). I'm not even trying to use the bluetooth. This is with the supplied and I've tried other USB cables. No warranty available either. Stay away from this product. I actually had to unplug and replug the keyboard just in writing this review. Again, do yourself a favor and stay away.

I love the tenkeyless size of the board. This is my second FILCO, I wanted to get a second keyboard so I could sit back and type wirelessly. Unfortunately the keyboard has a range of about 3 inches from the computer. I am not making a joke. Once i removed the access door to the computer I was able to move the keyboard to the exact location my wired keyboard sits. Any attempt at moving it further away, with access door to the tower open is met with dropped keypresses or long lag.I honestly expected better from FILCO. But this is NOT a wireless keyboard, it is a keyboard with a removable wire.

works very well - was more or less the only bluetooth keyboard I could find with Cherry MX blue switches. The only minor complaint I have is that it occasionally likes to repeat key presses 10+ times in a row for some reason.

I've bought a lot of keyboards, and this one is my absolute favorite. Bluetooth works great, switching between hosts is easy and reliable, the DIP switch to swap caps lock and control is awesome, the keys feel great. Everything about this keyboard is perfect.
