Faraday Key Fob Protector (3 Pack), Key Fob Signal Blocker Pouch

Review Date: December 8, 2024. Key fob relay scams seem to be on the rise. So to better protect your "push-button start" vehicle, you must block the "always transmitting" signal from your key fob. Some other vendors on Amazon were selling 2 Packs for like $15. I picked up this 3 Pack for about $9. Just shop around and you will find some amazing deals on Amazon's website. Anyway, the product works great if used correctly. The downside I could think of is that the item is quite bulky. It would be great if clothing manufacturers included a Faraday pocket inside everyday clothing such as a pant pocket or a jacket pocket. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

The holders are a little stiff at first but probably the size of an iphone. There is a chain on the inside so you can attach your key or fob if you desire. They do work well. I placed the key to one vehicle inside it, even when the flap isn't folded on top and it will not unlock the door. If you return the fob to the holder when inside the vehicle, after starting it, the vehicle will notify that the key isn't present. I'm please with the product and keep spare keys in pack when at home and outside vehicle isn't in use. Also use it after parking vehicle when away. It's one more step to help protect. I am satisfied with its looks, its sturdiness and and construction. It seems to do what the seller advertises it to do.

I live in a town that my car is very poplar for stealing so when I read this was the item to buy, I bought. Its a bit bulky but it works, my car will not unlock or start when it is in the correct pocket. Highly recommended, will probably upgraded to a cuter smaller one.

Originally bought this because my garage door opener, it in my pocket would reopen the door with least touch on it so I would drive away with my garage door open if I didn’t check it three times. I just put one of these in my pocket and put the opener in it same thing with my car door opener, and I don’t have to worry about anyone else having access to my car or house as many people do not realize when they leave these things out at home.

I put my key FOB in the pouch and tried passive unlock and i couldnt get in. Then I put it right on top of the FOB tray for when you remote has low battery. Pressed the brake and start button and I was informed no remote is detected. Not sure if it block all of the signal, or if really sensitive relay equipment could still pick it up. I figure if you can afford equipment that good, your not stealing chevy bolts with it. It seems to well built for the cost. I figure it will last for a few years for the main key, and forever for the spare ones. The built in key chain is nice for the spare, but I'm far away from my car when at work and don't want carry around something this big in my pocket all day.

I have been very happy with these pouches. I know it works. There have been times when I forgot to take my key fob out of the pouch before getting to my car and I could not open the car door. Once I took it out, the door would unlock. Sad we have to use this but glad it is available as an extra safety precaution. I recommend it. 👍🏾

I’ve been using these for about a year. At first they worked great. This week, we had our car door open with the key fob securely enclosed within the protector. We have another vehicle and we tested it, same thing. The key fob was accessible while in the protector. These bags still look new, but they no longer afford any protection. Are they supposed to expire?

I’m not a fan of these push button to start vehicle feature of the new cars but apparently a mechanical key is a thing of the past. To me theses FOBs are great for car thieves. I purchased this RF blocking bag hoping it would work to shield the car fob. It works! Sitting in the vehicle with the fob out of the bag I can start the vehicle. Put the fob in this bag and seal it up, vehicle says no fob found.

I placed my keys in the pouch and my car could not pick up the signal. Took it out the pouch and got in the car. Placed it back in the pouch and my car refuse to start, my screen kept flashing ( Lost key signal) Verdict = works! Even from a far distance like 30 feet

I put the keys in the pouch and tried to get in my car. There was no way I could get in. I opened the door, then put the keys in the pouch and tried to start the car. I could not start the car.

I really like the quality of the product.
