Easy eye positioning
Except for the part which fits in the focuser, the barrel is plastic. In terrestrial daylight testing, the view looks good all the way to the edge. I expected "kidney bean" blackouts, but did not experience any. It is easy to position the eye.Not junk. A mandatory step-up from eyepieces supplied with beginners's scopes.

Not Bad...
I'm a beginner at astronomy, like most the people looking at these $14 eyepieces. I have never looked through a $100+ lens, so I have no idea what quality image they have. With that, I feel like I can give a review that doesn't compare a $14 to one costing several times more. I bought the 10mm & 23mm eyepiece from this set because the 68deg UW Svbony (red/black) eyepieces didn't have a 10mm and it stopped at 20mm. Both lenses are great upgrades to the cheap ones that come with most telescopes. The views are very clear and sharp with little edge fuzziness. Sure, they're made of plastic, but does that really matter? It fits great, the image is great, and it's cheap, what every beginner wants. Honestly, the only complains I have about them is that they don't have a flip-up eye guard like the other 99%, but I found a solution for that. Since these eyepieces are more than likely replacement upgrades for people, you can take the eye guard off the old ones (that are destined for the trash) and put them on the Svbony. Problem solved! The other complaint is that I wish there were more sizes than just 3, that's kind of lame for eyepieces in this price range and magnification. Other than that, they're great. Buy them!

Unheard of value for outstanding bino eyepieces!
Purchased for maxbright bino, these light and compact eyepieces by design, are not only ideal in this application but excel in bright clear aspheric and sharp views. Ignoring edge of field brightness these are a pure joy to use, have 62* afov, excellent eye relief are an unheard of value, and even include end caps. They remind me of my Edmund RKE 28mm, but with easier eye placement, lesser yet adequate builld quality and are an outstanding value. Svbony/celestron printed on box - could these have been too good for the market price point? Very very pleased!

Very Good Eyepiece for the Price
This review is for the 23 mm and it's outstanding! The specs say that the Eye Relief (ER) on this is "9 mm", but I'd say it's more like 15 mm. ER is the distance your eye has to be from the main lens to see the whole field of view. It does make the viewing through it much more comfortable. Love the big Apparent Field of View (AFOV) of 62° and very contrasty images. I also found the views through this eyepiece are super sharp around the center of the AFOV, and still stays surprisingly sharp towards the edges.Highly recommend this eyepiece as the next step up from any you get bundled with a starter telescope package!

Higher quality than the price would suggest.
This eyepiece is being used interchangeable with my other eyepieces on my 105mm refractor, 105mm & 150mm SCT, 90mm MCT and reflector... Wanted a 25mm Aspheric, (have Plossl, Orthoscopic, Kellner). In some cases it is better than the rest in others about the same, (good for looking at stars that are close together). Higher quality than the price would suggest.

Amazing
The difference between this and my stock 25mm Kellner is night and day. Clear, crisp views made setting up my finderscope so much easier. And at this price I got a hell of a lot more than I expected. Seems to be built well and solid. I don’t know about more expensive eyepieces but I have to say this one is is worth every penny.Update: this has become my go to eyepiece. The wide angle makes tracking down object much easier. Yes there is aberration and halos around objects and no flip up eyecup. But it totally beats my stock 25mm. If you’re buying your first telescope I highly recommend this as a “starter” upgrade. For the price and night and day from your stock kellner this will do it. And you can buy replacement eyecups if you need

Definitely budget-definitely worth it!!!!!
I bought the 23 mm and the 10 mm, for my fairly new Celestron 102 mm refractor.(This scope came with the worst eyepieces to ever be conceived)on first handling I found they were metal barrels and plastic tops with a rubbery coating and very light weight.on compairing the 23 mm with the H25 mm, the two felt like they were the same although the H25mm was a little bit shorter.and the 10mm compaired equally to the H12.5mm. my first opertunity to try them I had great conditions.I used the Svbony 23mm first, wow very nice, then popped the H25 in... then back to the SvBony..., WOW!!! I could not believe the view a $13.00 eyepiece could deliver!!!!I was just hoping it would be better at least marginally better. What I found can only be described like this.Take an empty toilet paper tube look up at the moon- that’s the field of view and long tunnel feel of the H25mm.Now take a key ring (with keys removed) hold that up to your eye, now look through it at the same target, that’s the field of view and that tunnel/tube feel is gone!!!!And that is why a person on a tight budget SHOULD buy these. Now comparing the svbony 10mm to the H12.5mm, pretty much the same results as the other twoAs far as getting a sharper image, can’t say I could see an improvement. But I can say with these I can focus and use my eyeglasses or not due to a lot better eye relief(I never use my eyeglasses when using the telescope anyway.I did not buy the 4mm because that’s way too short of focal length for my scope. I wished they made these in various other sizes I would buy them!!! Svbony if your reading this, help out the Budget bound a little more !! I would recommend a 6mm, 13mm, 18mm, 32mm and a 40mm. Your 4mm is just too short for most scopes.

Lol. @$15, Maybe the best penny for penny eyepiece?
I don't have a premium eyepiece collection. At the high(er) end, I have a televue plossl and a couple of explore scientifics. After those, a baader "ortho", a starguider, some gold and redlines. Then, finally some omni, svbony and astromania plossls. They all seem decent enough, good to great. But, lol, sometimes this ridiculously inexpensive 23mm aspheric is the one. I keep it handy. I can't tell you the exact seeing conditions, but sometimes, not always, this is the one that does it. I bought 3. One for my dad and 2 for me because sometimes I use them in my binoviewer. They are superlight if that is ever a factor for you. Just ridiculous.

SVBONY Telescope Lens 23mm
Excellent lens. Worth the money spent

Works well with small refractor OTA
23mm and 10m eyepieces team up well with SvBony SV501 70/420. Give wide bright views clear to the edges.Great value. Not so impressive with a 127Mak.
