Is the actual charger a mini that sits flush or sticks out?

If I’ve understood you correctly, it sticks out. Mine is in a center console power outlet. It is shorter than others I’ve seen. The 2 adapters plug in and I still have clearance in the console. They plug directly (straight) into adapter. Hope this helps
