Lemon Eucalyptus Mosquito & Insect Repellent Spray, DEET-Free*, 4 Oz

In the past, I’ve always used Murphy’s Lemon Eucalyptus mosquito spray. It works very well, however, it wasn’t available at my time of purchase. The Cutter aerosol spray has a very nice pattern and covers well. I don’t feel that Cutter’s is as great a value, but it doesn’t spray very well. I like it because it is more natural and doesn’t have the strong smell as Deet products. I will continue to see how good the Cutter’s products continue to work.

Since it's deet free, I not only use it on myself but I also put it on my dog's harness. So far so good!

Sprays evenly and works on clothing without any staining that I've seen. I also use this on the posts on my back porch to keep flies away from my doors and hummingbird feeders. The feeders still get the birds and all kinds of bees, but it keeps flies away! Great to keep biting flies off of you. I like to spray my clothing, shoes and hats rather than my skin so it lasts longer. Does not irritate skin. I miss the old pump bottles as this has far less in it, but these are an okay replacement since they do spray evenly.

I have a horse that is eaten alive by mosquitoes. Just a magnet for the little bloodsuckers. She welts up and scratches until she bleeds. So I try everything for mosquito abatement. I have researched online (so you know it’s true) and there have been a couple studies I’ve seen that showed that lemon eucalyptus is effective for mosquito repellant. I bought this as I use the essentials oil as well. This was very convenient to use and very strongly scented. It makes me sneeze. It does repel mosquitos at least for a while and if it was either cheaper or contained a larger amount it would be great but it’s pretty expensive for the amount in the can

We live in SW Florida and visit Sanibel Island regularly. One thing about the island are noseeums are very active. This insect repellent does a great job at keeping them away. I like it because it does not have deet in it. The top can turn and it will not accidentally get sprayed in our beach pack. It has a lemony smell not like a bug spray. So it’s a pleasant smell. I wish it came in a bigger can

Really zero stars. Product advertises Deet free which is good but when reading warning on container after arrival the product is virtually useless. It is a mosquito repellent which obviously needs to come in contact with fingers during application. On the container it states “Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes.” This renders the product useless in many situations and dangerous to use on kids. If you forget and inadvertently touch your eyes before you have a chance to thoroughly wash your hands, you have a serious problem. If you wash your hands but later touch you skin and then your eyes, you have a problem. They will not allow returns. Mine is going right in the garbage and I’m out the money with no recourse.

Let alone mosquitoes, nothing will come near you again. Ever. That's how strong this is; it's the strongest smelling natural substance I've ever encountered: the tiniest wisp of it sprayed on your lower leg will drive you insane and make reading a few passages of your favorite book--while seated in the yard-chair--almost impossible. Amazing it is though, because it smells pungent, but without the chemical-laden carcinogenic smell of the regulate double DEET. I used this product, and it was so strong, I felt bad for my cat, and I had to go outside immediately to avoid possibly causing massive irritation to my poor kittie. But I didn't have any issues with mosquitoes at all.
