Does this product operate with an "attitude"? Like does the finger turn off the switch in a different maner each time?

Unfortunately, no. As I mentioned in my review, it is so lightning quick you barely have time to see what actually happened. Many I showed it to had no idea what transpired. The quickness of the action ruins the effect. Add to the fact that the "finger" is clear plastic, and it is a cute idea with bad execution. A much slower opening and closing would be far funnier and creepy. PS: I added a small doll hand and finger to the clear tip and now it resembles a hand. Still, too fast.

Can you put anything inside?

No, and why would you? It's a very small box with a mechanism in it, putting something inside of it would interfere with it's operation.

Is the box heavy enough that it will not move (slide) when actuating the toggle switch? Dont what this to be a two hand operation.

No, it will slide (two hands needed) but there is room in the box to fill with weight so it won't slide.

Does the "finger" go back in the box on it's own? Somebody said they have to manually push it back in each time.

No. If they have to push the finger back into the box every time then they got a faulty product. It should turn the switch off then retract back into the box on its own.
