DanskoWomen's Professional Oiled Leather Clog

I am a Health Care Aide that works in a long-term care facility with seniors. I work 6-8hrs for 3 -5days a week. I walk/run a lot on the hard floors of my facility. I had started my job in Jan 2019 and have tried a couple of different shoes such as ASICs (I don't recommend them as it's hard to clean the soles and expensive) and cheap free shoes from Costco that got overstretched and coming off when I walked. As soon as these came (May 6, 2021) in I wore them non-stop only problem is that they hurt all the time. The adjustment period was super challenging and on my feet for most of the day. By the time August 2021 came, I finally felt no pain and was like walking on clouds/heaven. Everyone noticed and complimented them including my manager. I love the massive sole, color, and the top is somewhat hard too. It protected me from accidentally hitting the mechanical lift/wheelchairs on the wrong part of my foot and protected me. I am clumsy at work and hurt myself a lot and I come home with a lot of bruises on my ankle, shins, and knees. It's easy to take off, put on, and easy to clean the soles. I highly recommend this and would consider buying another pair, later on. Customer service was great too.

NICE SHOES

Clogs aren't for everyone, it's true, but if you've ever worn them and loved them, the memory of clogs will never quite go away, no matter how fancy a pair of shoes will find its way into your closet. It's been a while for me-- many years actually-- but there it was: this push and pull toward a type of shoe that, while rigid and stylized, somehow seems to offer a kind of support that nothing else offers to my feet. The long and the short of it is: I love my new Danskos! I've been working up to them for quite a while, and yes, I wondered if it was only nostalgia for the clogs of a former lifetime that held me in its grip. But every time I tried a pair on, it felt so right even if the price seemed a bit steep.I took the plunge on Amazon because the price was right, the style was right, and so was the time-- the time for a new pair of clogs had arrived, and they're perfect! I love the way they support my feet and ultimately my back. They also make me walk with more awareness which is not a bad thing. You can't go tripping the light fantastic in clogs but you can saunter through it and your slower pace will contribute to your ability to smell the roses.

I donated an old pair of Danskos over the past year--they got me through medical school and residency, squeaking the entire way. Then this pandemic hit and I needed to return to wearing scrubs, which I hadn't for 5+ years. I wanted a pair of shoes that could easily be cleaned, slipped on, and left in the garage when I go home, and Danskos came to mind. I wear a size 8.5 and bought the 39s. You want to be able to fit a finger behind the heel to ensure a perfect fit. These hit the mark. Two months in and no squeaking. My back doesn't hurt, my feet don't hurt, the shoes look great after 2 months of daily use and sitting in my garage and being wiped down every day. I forgot that I actually liked my Danskos. I think I might have to buy more pairs/styles after this. Recommend for comfortable, durable, and practical shoes.
