Update: The seller reached out very quickly and offered several solutions to resolve this situation and let me choose which I preferred. While the original unit did have problems, they stood behind their product and made it very easy to resolve, for this it deserves 5 stars. Fantastic communication and resolution.Original review:This power supply worked as expected for the first 3 weeks, for a total of approximately 20 hours of use between 5V and 9V. Now when powering on the unit, regardless of the CV setting, the volts start near 01.00 and quickly drop to 00.00 and switches to CC with 00.00 amps. At this point adjusting any of the settings is ineffective and all settings remain at 00.00 on the display. The description of this unit says to reach out to Nice-Power with questions but I can't find any contact information. Frustrating and will likely have to return the unit.

Blew fuse on second use without having anything connected tried to replace with proper fuses several times and they would blow as soon as power button was pushed.. the last time it made a loud pop and smoke came out from case. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Got this to help with adjusting power supplies and testing components. Works great!

I've been dabbling with electronics for decades and have a good handheld multimeter but have never really had a stable of nice bench tools to play with, but recently I've started to acquire some.So far I've only done basic unloaded testing with this supply. The voltage tracks pretty close to my Fluke DMM but reads high by a few hundredths of a volt. I put it on my scope to see if there was anything other than DC coming out. At the lowest range setting there's some spiky ripple down at the highest sensitivity but frankly that could be noise in my scope. That's plenty good enough for me.Adjustment is a little odd. There's a coarse adjustment that gets you close and a fine adjustment that takes you the rest of the way. It takes a bit of getting used to. With the current knobs turned all the way up the supply operates in constant voltage mode, and with the voltage knobs turned up all the way it'll operate in constant current mode.The positive and negative terminals seem to be free floating - they're not tied directly to the chassis ground which is exposed via a dedicated ground post. There's also a 5V/2A USB charge port because, well, I guess because they could.I've not yet done any serious load testing to see how linear the output is, but other reviewers have and it worked fine for them. So far it serves my purposes just fine.The extra set of DMM leads was a surprise bonus in the package. They're at least as good as my old Fluke leads (so far anyway) and in better shape so I'll be using them instead. The shrouds on the banana plugs were a bit larger than the Flukes and they don't attach quite as easily. It was a nice bonus nonetheless.

The media could not be loaded.  There are lots of options available on Amazon for power supplies, and this one is an excellent choice. First off, the case is metal, not plastic, and there is some weight to this unit so it doesn't "feel" cheap. The display is bright and has both a macro/gross adjustment knob as well as micro/fine adjustment knob. The macro/gross adjustment adjusts the voltage in increments of 0.01V, but this is very difficult to actually control, which is where the fine adjustment knob comes in. I can adjust the voltage by 0.01V with the fine adjust knob by turning the knob approx. 2-3deg rotation, so I generally use the gross adjustment knob to get to within 0.5V, then use the fine adjustment knob to ease into the final value. This unit doesn't have a separate button to switch from constant voltage to constant current. Instead it uses what they term as "automatic conversion". To quote their manual "if the load causes the power supply to operate in a constant voltage mode, a constant voltage is output. As the load increases, the output voltage will remain constant and the output current will increase. When the current value reaches the set current limit value, the power supply will automatically switch to constant current mode. The output current remains stable and the output voltage decreases proportionally as the load increases further. The conversion of constant voltage and constant current is indicated by the LED on the front panel." So just be aware of this, if you are used to using power supplies that require you to physically push a button to change between constant voltage and constant current modes.

Es buen producto con relacion al precio, yo en lo personal estoy satisfecho con esta compra ya que todavía estoy aprendiendo sobre la rama de electrónica y para mí (un novato) está bien.

Los ajustes son totalmente analógicos, por lo que en ocasiones tienden a variar al apagar y encender el equipo. En general cumple bastante bien y los indicadores son muy útiles

Functionality is weak. It hold voltage output while you turned off the power. It’s harmful to the device connected.
