work well, wet or dry to give you a nice polish on your paint job.
A nice assortment of sandpaper for use in painting and cleaning up a finish. These are nice quality and last a long time, wet or dry. I like having the different grits so I can get a nice clean luster.

Reliable finish for fine sanding jobs
I’ve used this 600 grit sandpaper for a few different projects—mostly prepping surfaces for painting and smoothing out clear coats—and it works exactly as expected. The sheets are durable and don’t fall apart like some cheaper brands, even when wet sanding. The size is standard and easy to cut down if needed. I like that it holds up well under pressure and doesn’t clog too quickly. It’s not magic, but if you need a fine grit for finishing work, this is a solid choice. I keep a pack on hand for auto touch-ups and woodworking. Definitely worth it if you want consistent results without fuss.

Nice Assortment for My Needs
The sandpaper quality was excellent but I felt the price was a little too much for the few sheets included in the package.

Great for wet sanding 3D prints in tiny spaces
I use this 3M Wetordry sandpaper for finishing my 3D printed parts, mostly helmets and props, and my “spray booth” is basically… the bathroom shower. Because it’s wet/dry, I can sit there with a bucket of water and sand everything down without turning the whole house into a plastic dust storm. The assorted grits in this pack are super handy – I usually start around the medium grit to knock down layer lines on PLA and then work my way up to the finer sheets to get things smooth enough for primer. The 3 2/3” x 9” size fits really nicely on my small sanding block, and they’re easy to cut into smaller strips for tight corners and details. What I like most is they actually last. Compared to the cheapo sandpaper I grabbed from the hardware bargain bin, these don’t fall apart or go bald after two minutes of wet sanding. They hold up really well even when I’m going hard on filler primer or resin-coated prints. It’s not perfect though. The sheets can curl up a bit once they’ve been soaked a few times, so I have to flatten them out or re-clip them to the block. And they’re definitley pricier than generic stuff, so I save them for the “serious” finishing work, not random rough sanding on wood or drywall. Overall, if you’re into 3D printing, cosplay props, or any kind of detailed model work and you’re stuck working in a small space, this pack is kind of a clutch buy. Keeps the dust down, gives a really clean finish, and makes your prints look way more “factory” and less “fresh off the Ender.”

Nice sandpaper set for polishing axles on Pinewood Derby cars
If you're a parent of a cub scout who does Pinewood Derby cars every year, you'll want to pick up a set of this wet/dry sandpaper. It's a nice collection of just the right grit to polish the car's axles for greatest performance. The axles (nails) that come in the box with the pinewood derby car have burrs and crimp marks on them that lead to unnecessary friction between axle and wheel. Friction is the enemy of speed so it's best to file these down, then polish the axles using this fine grit sandpaper to get a smooth finish, with much less friction between the axle and the wheel. Ideally you'll want to use a power drill, clamped into a vise, with the axle securely inserted into the drill head where a bit would normally go. Get yourself a fine tooth metal file plus a sheet of 500 or 600 grit sandpaper as well (not included in this set). Cut the 500 grit paper, plus each of the strips in this set into a few strips about 1/3 inch wide. I find it's best to mark the back of the paper in 1/3 inch increments and write down the grit number in each 1/3 inch section using a sharpie (e.g., 1000, 1500, etc.). This allows you to keep each strip straight. Also, be sure to wear protective eyewear and a dust mask to keep any metal dust or filings out of your eyes and lungs. Then it's pretty simple: * secure the axle into the drill head with a little over 1/2 inch of axle exposed * make sure drill is secure in vice * start spinning drill * use metal file to remove burrs and crimp marks (careful here not to file more than needed) * stop drill and inspect axle to make sure imperfections are gone. Surface of axle should now be smooth but with fine scratches * restart drill * using the previously cut 1/3 inch wide strips, polish the axle (including inside of head) starting with 500 grit sandpaper, moving up to 1000, 1500, 2000 and finally 2500. I find about 15-20 seconds with each grit works pretty well. The sandpaper holds together well wet or dry. Also, a single strip is usually good for two or three axles so a little sandpaper goes a long way. Put the unused paper into the pinewood derby box for next year (this is why labeling the individual strips of sandpaper is so important). Be sure to inspect each axle (preferably with a magnifying glass) after you're done to make sure it is smooth and shiny. Some people continue the polish out to even higher grits (3000+) but I've found that 2500 grit works well. Using this technique, my son has been able to take home a few trophies for his pack and district derbies. I realize this may not apply to all prospective buyers of this sandpaper, but hopefully it's helpful to some!
