Best fruit cake ever.
Our family has been eating Claxton fruit cake for years. I couldn't find it in stores nearby anymore. Then I decided to try Amazon. I was so grateful to get nd out. The texture is perfect. It is a very dense fruit cake, full of fruit and nuts. It goes perfectly with a cup of tea.

A Good Fruit Cake--But Not My Favorite
I had not previously had a Claxton Fruit Cake (that I remember), so I purchased this "Three 1-Pound Loaves" cake this previous holiday season. I definitely like fruit cake during the holidays--sometimes with a glass of wine. I was not disappointed in the Claxton cake. It arrived in good condition and seemed fresh and moist. The three separately wrapped loaves made it simple to store over a period of time, since I'm the only one in the family that usually eats it. I even popped one in the freezer, and retrieved it some months later--it was just fine. Truth be told, this Claxton cake is not my favorite fruit cake, but I think it is quite good. I would not hesitate to purchase again, especially if I cannot locate my cake of preference--which has happened before. It is less expensive that some other cakes, so the value for the money is very good. I would give it an overall 4 stars.

The three fruitcakes arrived a few days earlier than expected. They were in perfect shape in a gift box. The price was excellent.

3 bar doesn’t last long
Buy these every year and during the year. The best fruit cake I have found however this years triple cake order the cakes seemed a tab bit smaller? I know everything is going up and we’re getting less for same cost or more. I luv these. Thanks for prompt ship as usual!
