Used for Disaster Remediation
After Hurricane Helene, all industrial fans were sold out at Home Depot, Lowe's, and other stores in the Tampa Bay area. I was relieved to find these industrial fans on Amazon. We used 2 of them for post-flood remediation to dry out our house after the drywall and flooring were torn out. They are noisy, but it shows how powerful they are.

Moves a decent amount of air for a fair price...
Purchased this DeWalt barrel fan to pull heat away from a generator I run time to time. This time of the year in North Texas. We are either above 100 or just below it. That's in the shade Being slightly barreled shape does the job on air movement. Nothing but good products from DeWalt over the years. This fan is well built, a snap to attache legs. Its been on the job over a week now, doing good. I expect years of service out of it....

Looks good but does not deliver as much air as a fan it size has done in the past
This fan has a nice, rugged industrial appearance and bears a top brand name, so it should create wind at least 10 to 15 feet out from its front, but it does not do so. What we have here is a good marketing job of a product that lacks adequate horsepower motor to turn a fan blade with sufficient angle of attack to move room air as one would expect such a diameter of fan to do. The designer of this product has given the buyer everything BUT what the buyer buys a fan for--moving lots of air at a high velocity so that it cools the skin at a practical distance. I definitely would NOT buy this product. I did, so let the buyer beware of this one!

Perfect shop fan
Perfect for home, business or work shop. Whatever you need it for, this fan will do the job. Tough metal frame, 3 speed motor. Portable.

Incredible air movement!
The media could not be loaded. Assembled in minutes. Plugged it in and the difference in air movent between my breezeway and garage was amazing! Definitely worth the investment... And, of course, it's a DeWalt!!!

Incredibly powerful, but (the cord) runneth short..
I would love to give this 5 stars, but the cord is juuuust too short and has been a pesky annoyance to me ever since buying it. But man is this thing durable af, the speed controls are basically "how many fans worth of air you want?" 😂By the way - it's LOUD. Especially on high! But you probably figured this out considering it's basically a budget industrial fan 😳+5 overall-2 for short power cord ☠️

Loud but sturdy
Bought for my husband in the shop. I like it fine, but he doesn't think it has a great radius -- like the blowing is too narrow. If you don't mind a straight-on, sort-of narrow blowing radius, this fan feels sturdy and blows hard.
