Hi! No, not at all. It is a shade or 2 darker than light pink. Beautiful color!

Q: Is this thin enough to wear safely in a car seat?

I would not have a baby wear this in a car seat. It’s meant to fit a bit baggy because it’s supposed to be worn over other clothes. I think it would bunch up under a car seat, and the straps wouldn’t be able to get tight enough.

Q: can the hand and foot muffs / mittens be removed or opened?

The hand’s can be opened but the feet can not. It’s a zip up pram.
