Fit seamlessly on the 2012 civic lx arm rest. Just a minute of work. It doesn’t slip around and does not block the locking mechanism. The leather quality is good and I got it for a great price. Overall, I’m fully satisfied by the product.

This cover fit perfectly on the center console of my Honda Civic—tight, snug, and it instantly gave the interior a more finished, upgraded look. The material feels durable and of good quality, and it definitely helps protect the console from wear and tear. My only complaint is that the console doesn’t always close properly unless you play with the cover a bit and adjust it just right. It can be done—and once you find the right position, it stays put—but having to fidget with it every now and then can get a little annoying. That said, I still decided to keep it because it looks great and does exactly what I wanted it to do. If you’re okay with a tiny bit of trial and error for the fit, it’s sincerely recommended for Civic owners looking to add a sleek, protective touch to their interior.

Most car manufacturers have learned over time, don't put cloth on the "touch points" of the interior where bare skin touches, because it's going to get oily and grubby. That's why the top of your door panel and grab handle are hard plastic, easily washable. Even fabric inserts on the door panel are a bad idea, if they extend close to the handle they will get grubby. I don't know what possessed Honda to put fabric on the center arm rest, the biggest touch point, instead of hard plastic or vinyl/leather. My previous car had a hard plastic center arm rest, it got filthy too but at least it was easily washable. My before picture shows what happens over time. To be fair I didn't try to clean it with upholstery cleaner, but that would have been a temporary fix. I think this black cover looks more formal and attractive than the factory color matched fabric, and black won't show the dirt as much even when it does get soiled. Installation was simple, make sure to get your seams lined up straight. Very impressed and happy with this purchase.

Pictures are before and after drivers armrest cover was stretched over. Perfectly fits and covers damaged armrest. Ideally serves the purpose.
