Great beginner guitar.
I love this guitar. I did from the moment I held it in my hands. Excellent quality, sounds beautiful, and looks great. The only issue I have isn't with the guitar at all. I'm Canadian, and the box comes with a Califormia Proposition 65 label about the hazardous materials in the guitar. Yes, in an acoustic guitar. You all keep your weird politics and lunatic-level government overreach to yourself, please. Black that ridiculous nonsense out for Canadians. Otherwise, an amazing purchase.

Great Guitar For the Price
I ordered this guitar as an early birthday present for myself. Having had played guitar some in the past, I was looking for something with good action and comfortable playability that didn't break the bank to get re-acquainted with the instrument and let me tell you - I am not the least bit disappointed by this. The neck is a comfortable hold, and the edges are rounded out, which is a must for any guitar, in my opinion. It doesn't feel chunky at all, and the action feels great. The nut is not too high, which means you do not have to press down the strings super far to get a clean chord. While the strings do hurt my fingers some, that is a problem with all guitars, especially steel-string guitars. I'll get used to it. 5 stars on construction and playability. The tone is excellent. A little bass-heavy on my microphone, but I expected that with having a spruce top. The sound really fills the average room, and it's a crisp, clean sound. 5 stars on sound. This guitar came with a case, and it's great. I was expecting a mediocre case at best, but it is quality, and I am pleasantly surprised. It has four - count 'em, FOUR - latches that do a great job of locking the case. A little heavy, but it is very sturdy and survived shipping without a blemish. 5 stars on the case. The tuner is functional. I haven't done much with the lesson subscription material, but I am sure that will change. Comes with a three-month subscription to Fender Play, which is neat in my book. Picks are good quality, medium gauge. Strings are all right, holds its tune well, though I think my D'addario's will be better. Pro-tip: get a guitar string tool. It will make changing strings much better. 5 stars on accessories. All in all, this guitar package cannot be beat for the price.

Great Starter Lefty Guitar
This is a pretty darn good guitar kit for the money you are paying. I own a Taylor GS Mini but in right hand. I have struggled to learn to play it. After some research, I have decided to give left handed guitar a try. This is a great starter package. I am a shorter person at 5'-7", so I should have opted for the concert style because of the smaller body, but the dreadnought isn't too bad. I will have to play more vertical than horizontal.Anyway, the guitar has a nice gloss finish and the overall appearance is beautiful for a guitar at this price point. There is abalone shell in the rosette around the sound hole. The strings that it came with don't sound too bad, but there is another set of Fender strings included. Everything pictured in the listing came with the guitar. The sound is bright and clear. I expect it to change somewhat when I change the strings if I use a different brand. I have had to do some minor tuning each time I take it out to practice. Just a bit, not much at all. The case is really nice but the guitar is a little loose fitting inside. This does, however, let me store the guitar with the strap attached.I only have two minor things to point out. The guitar came with an allen wrench that is unusable. There is only one allen screw on the whole guitar and that is the truss rod, accessed through the sound hole, and the wrench is too small. The other is a welcome card that talks about my new ukelele purchase and nylon strings. But these don't detract from an otherwise great starter guitar kit. Bravo Fender and Austin Bazaar!I should have have went with the smaller concert model though. It would be more comfortable for someone my size. Shorter arms and fingers.... oh well. Enjoy!

Quality guitar and great price = Value
Shopping for a LH guitar is a lot like shopping for LH golf clubs. Selection and variety are limited, and sometimes expectations have to be lowered. That is not the case with this guitar. It is well-constructed, nicely finished, easy to tune and comes with an assortment of goodies - most notably a digital tuner and extra set of "light" strings, which are easier on beginner fingertips. The hard case is excellent and worth the extra $30. Spending $8 on a string winder/wire cutter combo is a good investment because the strings will break or need to be replaced. A winder tool will help speed up the process... and also help with safely removing the white anchor pins. Note that this is a full-size guitar and could prove difficult to play for some. While I would have liked a black or sunburst color option, I understand the manufacturing considerations that have to be made for products with small or limited demand. Overall - if looking to see whether guitar is in your DNA, this is a fantastic place to start.

Great acoustic guitar value
Getting back into playing. Have an electric and wanted to add an acoustic that I could leave out in the living room and not worry about people touching it. Read some reviews and comparisons. Came down to a Yamaha FG800 or this Fender CD-60S. The fender has a thinner neck, which is easier for my stubby fingers to reach around. Also has mahogany back and sides which I like the looks of better.Received guitar and tuned it right up. Came with a good setup: very low action, no buzz, and some extra light Fender strings on it. After about a week of being in our very dry house, I needed to adjust the truss rod (neck was getting bowed) it developed a dead spot near the 14th fret of the high E string. The action was just a touch too low, so I replaced the bridge saddle with a Chinese bone one from Amazon. That raised the action a bit (but still only 1.5mm on the high E) and I put some new Ernie Ball Earthwood extra light #10 strings on it. Now it has good low action but no more dead spots.Guitar is well worth the price and Austin Bazaar was a pleasure to work with.
