Great cook set
Great cook set, purchased to augment my MSR Flex 2 set that I've already used for 4 years throughout the Middle East and Africa. The quality is great, weight is fine for backpacking, and will take care of an entire family's needs for a weekend.

Compact and excellent for frequent campers
This product was perfect for a family of three who goes camping every weekend since Covid hit. Plus the MSR scrub brush/scraper fits in between the mug section for easy storage. The only downside is there is no pan for frying up eggs.

I am very pleased with this purchase
I am very pleased with this purchase, it took a couple of years to pull the trigger due to the price tag but I feel that it's worth it. Keep in mind that it's thin aluminum and best suited for soups and stews or rehydrating one pot meals. If your cooking fresh food from scratch, browning meat and carmalizing onions and such you will need a thicker pot bottom. I have rehydrate spaghetti sauce with success with the smaller coated pot, in a pot coozie. The large pot is not non stick. I guess it don't need to be if you are boiling water for soup or stew or coffee. I wouldn't trust my wife's sauce to simmering very long without constant stirring

Costly and inferior product ( professional caterer)- update
This was such an investment I will use this all summer to give you a better idea of it's worth, but upon arrival, my thoughts are: The largest pot could be used to cook enough spaghetti for 4-6 persons. Each lid has a vent and a way to attach to the pot. I LOVE the handles. I purchased the extra MSR Flex Skillet, and maybe misunderstood, but you cannot incorporate that frying pan into the cook set to store it, the handle does not detach and only flops over the pan, I am pleased to have bought it however, as the medium lid fits it and it is well worth the addition to the set... I will update the post with any seasoned reviews after I use this set camping this summer! Be well!! Happy Camping!!April 7th - I had such high hopes for this lightweight set. One camping trip, 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner as we had baby back ribs one night. So cooked breakfast 2 mornings. First the good things about the set:1. The cups and bowls/plates were great! Cups kept coffee warm long enough to drink it. 10 minutes or so.2. The plates are the perfect weight to hold up to eating a steak dinner and are easy to eat from. I bought 2 extra plates I will keep for scrambling eggs and serving during future outings.3. The pots are fine for boiling water.4. The removable handles were a nice touch, and worked well when needing to remove pots and fry pan from the stove. HOWEVER the first use of the skillet (fry pan) the plastic thumb release to fold or remove the handle melted there by "fusing" the handle to the skillet. Can't fold it, can't remove it. Can't keep the set.....Bad things:1. I have never in my life had so much trouble getting pots and pans clean. EVERYTHING stuck HARD. We are talking scrambled eggs here folks and fried potatoes bacon and sausage. I would had to see what you would wind up with if you tried to cook a stew. The heat distribution is terrible. To get the entire strip of bacon fried I had to move it constantly. After starting the frying and turning the heat down parts were fully done and other parts of the same strip were raw. In the end even with care I had to discard portions that were overdone.Making scrambled eggs, (now remember I am a retired professional caterer) the egg stuck to the pot just in the normal practice of cooking them scrambled. To clean required scrubbing after bringing the water to wash the dishes in to a boil in the pot I cooked the scrambled eggs in.2. The additional skillet I purchased to use with the set, (same brand of course as mentioned above) ) the plastic thumb release melted there by "fusing" the handle to the skillet. Can't fold it, can't remove it. Can't keep the set.....To finish... The only way I would recommend this set is to someone who does not plan to use it for cooking food. Sad as it may seem, I am not trying to be funny.

Msr flex 4, and none ceramic non stick frying pan . doesn't fit the bill
First off . It's advertised has having lids that lock . Only the large pot as locks so you can't break down and only use the small if your a smaller party or solo. For the price it should me more modular . I had to use rubber bands to hold the lid on the smaller of the 2 pots to stow internals. If your going to always be a party of 4 won't be a problem. The ceramic pan after first day out material was flaking off pan . Not as tough as advertised. Don't recalling feel like eating non stick coating . However it should be noted backcountry has very fast shipping , but the do make you pay for return shipping if your not happy or the item is defective.

Absoluter Schrott
Eigentlich ganz praktisch, aber wenn sich nach 4 Wochen die Teflonschicht komplett löst, dann hat das Produkt nur 1 Stern verdient.

Buon prodotto. Ma caro.
L'idea dello stoccaggio all-in-one è davvero ottima.

Compact and lightweight with decent capacity
I often go camping with the family, hiking out away from the regular park and pitch campsites. Having a pot set that packs down small, yet is large enough to cook pasta, porridge, rice, noodles, etc for 4 is brilliant. Previously these were often cooked in two batches.I should mention that the handles on the pot and the clamps that hold the lid on are coated in plastic, which no doubt makes them nicer to hold, and stops scratches, but I have a feeling that these will quickly get burnt off when I use this on an open fire. The handles I am not too worried about, like the old trangia kettle, I'll just end up redoing the handle with some twine every year or so, but the clamps are more bothersome. Something to watch out for if you intend to use pots on an open fire.
