Is this a case with 18 individual packs, or just one pack?

Hi Lauren, it has 18 individual packs, kinda like how you would just go to the store and take the whole box off the shelf then go home and induce yourself into a sugar coma. Or spread the packs out over 3 days like my daughter lol

Are you supposed to eat these by biting them or peeling them into strips?

I have found that while sucking on them does provide a satisfactory sweet and sour combo it makes the whole process extraordinarily sticky. Biting them as a whole would be a preferred method, yes. The individual colors do not separate easily, one belt has five colors on it, but they are dyed into the belt, not fused together. Just a heads up; although the belts in an individual package sometimes stick together and form a very long belt I would discourage the use of multiple belts together to support the weight of your pants - not only does it attract flies and other animals but they become very moist after a few hours of use due to moisture in the air and will eventually separate, resulting in an embarrassing moment or two while out and about.
