Tool works as advertised
Have punched 240 studs so far and the tool has done a good job. I would have given it five stars except for the following areas of improvement. The plastic handle covers need to be glued on. They keep coming off. I will fix mine with a little adhesive. The sleeve that the piercing nail goes into keeps coming unscrewed. I will fix mine with some locktite. There needs to be more leverage. Where a stud fell where channel pieces were overlapped ar a joint it is quite difficult to punch through all three layers. After punching 100 studs or more fatigue in the hand and forearm can become an issue. Squeezing the very ends of the handles helps, but a better leverage factor would be appreciated.A better return system for the plunging pin is needed. It is often difficult to free the tool after a punch because the pin is stuck in the hole.

Not what expected
Thing routinely tries to fall apart just handling it normally. One handed operation is not a comfortable option. The leverage is not balanced for that. It does technically work so ill give it the 2 stars vs 1.
