This is a heavy duty coffee table weighs over 50 lb. When assembled is very stable and does not rock at all. It is simple to put together the instruction booklet with photos with everything numbered is easy to follow. They give you one cheap screwdriver that is useless. You actually need two sizes of screwdrivers, one for the screws and one for the Locking cams. It States you need two people, one person can do it fairly easily. For mounting the top the illustration shows two people are required. Actually it's very easy to do just one person. They bracket legs will simply sit inside and it's easy to balance with one hand and once you get one screw in the job is finished. It's the right size the height is compatible and it's very good when the tables swings toward the sofa. One of the drawer fronts had a very small, 8 inch, spot on the edge that did not have the same color. A little old English blended it in perfectly. I would buy it again,

Overall good product that is sturdy and functional. Probably more closer to 4.5 stars. Make sure you watch the price history because it became cheaper about 10 days after I purchased it. Packaging – Received in good condition with all parts accounted for, no issues unpacking. Assembly – Overall easy to assemble. Directions were simple and took reasonable amount of time to put together and put it in place in my living room. Look & Functionality – Positive things, It looks good and is very functional for me with the lift top. It allows me to eat in the living room and watch TV without needing to stoop down to my plate or bowl. The table is sturdy and it does not wobble or look like it will tip over. The only negative comment I have is that it’s not comfortable to put my leg on. Yes I know that it’s not built for me to put my legs on but for some reason it is uncomfortable to put my leg on. I’m going to alleviate that with putting a throw blanket or pillow. Overall a good product, just make sure you get it at the right price.

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon items. You get what you pay for. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture. It's your typical kit style piece. However, it's higher quality than most. You will spend some time assembling it. My estimate is an hour and hour with a partner, maybe an hour and a half or two hours by yourself. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I would suggest as others have to install the lift top brackets to the base of the unit before attaching the table top, at least for a single person. It really all went together well, with no drama. All holes lined up properly and with plenty of extra parts, a bag full, nice touch. It actually came with a screw driver that you will want to keep in your tool box, also a nice extra touch in my opinion. The table is very sturdy after assembly. It's actually kind of over engineered for the price point. That's rare for kit furniture. As far as materials, I would say adequate to above average, especially for the price point. Nothing feels cheap. The finished assembly feels sturdy and robust. I'm not sure if they use an actual wood veneer or a synthetic laminate, but it looks like real wood when assembled, not too shiny like a plastic veneer. It seems to take wood oil nicely. I did assemble the unit with polyurethane glue in all dowel pins. It seems incredibly sturdy. The lift top mechanism works extremely well, and smoothly. The only real cons I can describe are that the drawers and interior bottom panels are "relatively" thin, but this is a minor issue at best. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and final product. It assembled without drama, seems extremely sturdy, and looks good when completed. What more can you ask for especially considering the price point? Highly recommended. (This is just my opinion btw)

This is a great coffee table. Very sturdy, heavy, and made with very solid materials. Not cheaply made. I love the extra storage. Drawers open and close very smoothly. I really appreciate that you can choose which direction the lift top opens to. Some tables like this don’t give you a choice, so that was nice. Instructions were very easy to follow, parts were clearly labeled. Color is exactly like the pictures.

Sturdy and super easy to assemble. Instructions are clear and concise and you will need to follow them exactly so don't go all man on it and wing it (as I tend to do lol). The provided tool is a bit lacking. Would suggest a cordless screwdriver especially for the early part where you're mounting about a billion screws that the quarter turn lock nuts attach to. If your cordless has a clutch would recommend you set to very low setting. Do not over tighten! For added strength I used wood glue on all the dowled joints. I allocated a couple of hours over a few days to assemble but honestly I don't think I spent even an hour total. I did it easily by myself except for attaching table top which I also did by myself just not easily. The extra added hardware was definitely a plus as well. I got this for our living room since that doubles as our dining room. I'm also adding raised edges so my wife can keep her lego pieces on the table top even when the table clearing standard poodle's wagging tails are nearby. Fully recommended.

Arrived when they said it would, pretty easy to put together. I only needed a hand attaching the top. The lid is a little wobbly when lifting, not enough to be a problem. I gave it a 4 because it is manufactured wood, but, it was also on the lower end cost wise, soo. So far I am happy and would recommend. Looks nice.

The table looks and works better than the similar ones found at the local furniture stores for half the price. It's well made, goes together very easily and looks good. The top opens easily two handed and works in both directions. The drawers, although quite small, work well and glide easily. Even with the top open, it's very sturdy and can take a fair amount of weight. I'd suggest saving the corner protectors the top had when they shipped it. I put them back on mine and I think it looks good with them and makes the corners softer in case you accidentally clip one when walking by it. The only complaint I could make, and it is not even a true complaint but simply here because I felt it was worth sharing, is that it takes both hands to raise or lower the top, unlike some of the much more expensive ones which can be opened with one hand.... although not sure why that is even needed. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a coffee table that has storage. You are going to be hard pressed to find a better one this size for the price, at least new anyway. It was even well packed in the box. The box did get damaged in shipping but none of the parts were even slight damaged despite the box being worse for wear.

I absolutely love this coffee table! It is very sturdy, heavy, and feels like excellent quality. The lift-top feature works smoothly and is perfect for eating, working, or using a laptop from the couch. The hidden compartment and drawers provide so much storage and help keep everything organized and out of sight. The rustic brown finish looks beautiful in my living room. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
