works but the switch is a bit tight
Unlike some other lighters of its type, this one does not have an inconvenient lock switch that you have to push at the same time to turn it on. Instead it requires a fair amount of finger force to pull on the single switch. I don't have a problem turning it on, but I can imagine other people (such as some of my relatives) who may have problem with it, even if they don't have arthritic hands.

Works as advertised
This works well for what it does. It's a little hard to pull the trigger, and in a sunny environment the flame is a little hard to see, but it works! I had a spark ignitor in my grill that died and I got tired of removing the grill to light it up with a match. This allows me to reach down through the grill and light the burner and keep my hands well away.

Sooper cheap, but does the job.
This item definitely isn't winning any awards, but it gets the job done. The build quality is so cheap that I try to be as delicate with it as I can. It's been a few weeks and it hasn't broken yet. I use it about once/day.

Easy to Use safety lock
It has only a single button that serves as both safety lock and ignition, which makes it EASY to light. I hate having to struggle with multiple button safety locks. This is GREAT. I have been looking all over for a lighter that does NOT have a safety lock that is uncomfortable to use and this is it. To light it, you only have to squeeze hard on the trigger and this serves as the safety lock as well as the ignition. In other words, its a hard squeeze, but not that hard and it is very convenient to use. We have no kids here so safety locks always annoy me as they make it unpleasant to ignite the unit. This trigger is just hard enough to squeeze so that a young child will not be able to do it, yet its NO problem for me or my wife to use. It lights well, not ALL the time, but I have never found one of these at any price that lights ALL the time. I've only had it a week, but it usually ignites on the first click and if not, then on the second. This is a great unti. VERY cheap also. And its REFILLABLE, which to me is the most important aspect of a unit like this - I care about the environment. Many of these types of lighters are not refillable , so be careful if you buy any other.

Consider a better option
I bought a few of these lighters for home and church, both places where candles are lit regularly. I chose these because they were relatively cheap, simply, and refillable.Having had them for less than two months, the one used at home is nearly out of fuel. I expected that the fuel would last longer. It does not appear that it will be easy to refill the lighter with Butane. A final comment, it can be rather hard to "click" this lighter. That sounds silly, but there have been times where I struggled to actually produce a flame. All said and done, I would recommend you purchase a lighter elsewhere. Either buy an expensive (refillable) one online or at a store, or find cheap ones elsewhere (like the 99 Cent Store).

It works
Well, it works and makes fire, so there's that. It's a lighter, so I didn't expect much, and this product delivered. Overall it feels kinda cheap, but it's a lighter. I have used other touches/lighters before that were easier to press the trigger 'in' (kind of hard, material don't quite line up or slide together smoothly), but it's a lighter and it makes fire.

nice little lighter
I find this lighter very convenient for starting just about anything from candles to brush fires. It is more wind proof than matches and can be put in the right place before striking the light button. I bought two, one for each wood stove.

You get what you pay for
The price is quite nice, but the quality lacking. Bought two of these a few weeks ago. I put one in my pocket and sat down only to have it break in half. The plastic is cheap and flimsy. The other one, never having endured such crazy and damaging conditions as being put into a pocket, is still in one piece, but it barely works. The trigger mechanism to make it light is made of the same flimsy plastic. It works half the time at best. So cheap is nice, but if you want reliability, quality, and longevity, then pay a little more and get something better.
