This is your sleeping/night brace if you have a Grade III ankle sprain
I wish I had spent less time and money on night/sleeping braces for my Grade III ankle sprain that didn't work and had just caved and bought this first. Actually there's an even better version I want which you can't get on Amazon and need a doctor to order it as DME - the Malleoloc L3. Granted I haven't tried that yet and I had a terrifying experience just trying on the Caliguloc so I'm not sure if it would be suitable or not unless I tried it. However, the MalleoTrain Plus is the only brace I can sleep in comfortably and yet still crutch to use the bathroom at night. The quality is pretty good though I can tell compared to my old P3 Genutrain for my knee that I've kept since 1998 that the material quality has gone down a bit since and the sizing is very different from what it had been, while the prices have skyrocketed by comparison. To try and make this brace last as long as possible I wear it under socks when I sleep or else I know, especially with carpets in my apartment, the straps are going wear right through. It's easy to clean, which is great. It's also not bulky or obtrusive, though the gel pads are the same density in their L shapes, on both the outer and inner ankle in the same locations, and this is obviously a way to save money in manufacturing. I could easily wear this brace for my left ankle on my right one and just change reverse the way I wrap the strap around, even adding more velcro if necessary. It's also a way to double the money if people think they need one for each ankle vs. making different sizes regardless of whether for left or right ankle simply by selling strap adapters or selling the straps separately and the straps being L or R specific. In this respect it makes the brace even more versatile since you can easily adapt it using DIY methods for both right and left ankles, but the company would not like for you to be able to figure this out. Another great thing is that I still can't walk, can't have surgery, my ankle won't heal, etc. However, the Air CAM immobilizing boot was causing a lot of pain wearing it every day for so long at a time for almost half a year by the time I bought this brace. My right knee and right hip were killing me, and it was causing further injuries to the nerves in my left ankle and foot as well. Now I wear the MalleoTrain Plus at home most of the time too, along with my crutches and all the other daily living aids I need trying to learn to walk with my left ankle being held together by wishes dreams and inflammation, and it makes me feel less "broken", especially since I know I'll be stuck this way for another year at least, PT won't help, and I literally need to learn to just live with it. Something about how small it is, how invisible it us under socks and pants, how I don't even feel it, how easy it is to take off and on, how quickly it is to wash and dry... makes it worth it to the point where I would 100% buy another one if/when the time comes.

Expensive, but worth it for relief!
The malleo ankle brace was recommended by my surgeon when I continued to have pain and swelling from the average ankle lace up brace. First, some background to give you a better judgment if this may work for you. I had a tendon repair (ankle), tarsal osteotomy, and calcaneous osteotomy. Pros: As stated in the description, this brace fits into a tennis shoe, which was huge for me as I went back to work as a nurse. Previously I was wearing Hey Dudes with the foot swelling and a lace up brace, because lace brace wouldn't fit into anything! So a brace plus a tennis shoe plus better ankle support..heck yes! The brace has bulk like pads around ankle that claims to message as you walk (now I can't feel that, but I'm sure it works.) (You see my foot is still tremendously swollen 5 months after surgery.) What I do know, is that it feels 110% better than a lace up brace!! My ankle does seem to be a little less swollen at the end of the shift when I use this brace. Now I follow up with an incrediwear ankle sleeve at night (yes a different brand, and different ankle product, but it tremendously reduces my swelling). Cons: Manufacturer recommends this brace to be on bare skin and after being on a 10 hr shift, honey your foot is going to stink! The first 2 weeks back at work, I tried it on bare skin and then wore a very thin high heel sock over it (still major stink)(and my feet don't even sweat that bad nor stink). Week 3, I tried the high heel sock on first then put brace on top of it, since my main function for this brace was ANKLE stability and comfort, and that little sock barely came above my metatarsal and heel areas.(seemed to diminished sweat and stink a little). I wash this brace on gentle cycle without fabric softer once a week, and it DOES hold up well, but it still stinks, and stains don't come out of it. Then I air dry it. The price point of this brace is high. I can tell a major difference in support and comfort on days and times I wear the brace vs when I don't. Overall, I would buy again, I just wish the manufacturer would consider price for people who have had surgery are out of work for months and at this price point, it's a major budget hitter.

Money in trash.
It's $4 temu trash. Unbelievable price for this horrible product. You'll get better support with a compression sock, a quality ace bandage and watching a DIY video on how to wrap your ankle. Save yourself the money.

Best High‑Support Ankle Brace I’ve Used
The MalleoTrain Plus is easily the best high‑support ankle brace I’ve worn. The material and stitching are high quality, and the design feels modern and well‑engineered. The ankle molding is excellent — it centers the joint, keeps it warm, and provides the kind of stability you normally only get from a much bulkier brace. This is mid‑to‑high support, not just a compression sleeve. It controls swelling, improves alignment, and gives you confidence on uneven terrain or long days on your feet. I use it for heavy‑demand days, treadmill workouts, hiking, and any situation where my ankle needs real reinforcement. It’s snug to put on, but once it’s in place, it feels secure without restricting movement. If you need strong support without going to a rigid brace, this is a great option. It also works well with or without a compression sock depending on how much stability you need. I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with instability, arthritis, or chronic ankle issues.

Expensive but worth it!
The brace provides great support and is very comfortable. I was between sizes and bought the larger which I wear with a tight running sock. It is much more expensive than most ankle braces but so far is worth the price

Best ankle brace you could ever get - first thing to get for a broken ankle
I twisted my ankle in the weirdest way on Sunday. Immediately, I ordered this while laying on the couch waiting to schedule a doc appt. Got it the next day, put it on, and was able to manage pain and mobility despite being in ridiculous pain. It was very noticeable that I wasn’t able to put any weight at all on my ankle without this brace. Today is Wednesday and I woke up feeling better than the last two days and was telling a friend how good this brace is… when I got to the doctor’s office, two nurses, the doctor himself and even the radiologist all said, “this is a great brace.” Took X-rays, and we noticed a fracture… not a hairline fracture but a full fracture. Apparently, the brace helped keep everything in place and kept it from massively swelling, hence we thought it was just a ligament stretch or something minor. Thanks to this little contraption, both swelling and recovery time will be much smoother and easier. It’s worth the price and so much more… doctor was surprised because we all thought it was probably something small, but took the X-rays just in case. UPDATE: wore this sucker like religion and we needn’t do anything else for my broken ankle until it healed. All we did was take x-rays every 3 months to see how things were going, and it was as this brace and crutches for 6 months. It sure beat a cast or surgery; I can’t recommend this enough. Got a call today from school regarding my son who twisted his ankle. When I picked him up, I could clearly see it was massively swollen and bruising started - I’m certain it’s broken. Again… the first thing we did was to order one for his ankle. This brace is worth every penny in gold.

Support & comfort.
Don't waste your money! Provided No support. Material was very flimsy figure 8 strap was so long & velcro kept coming a loose. So dissapointed was so hoping it would work out. $ 100. Dollar item that was returned quickly!

Buon sostegno
Fornisce un buon sostegno pur essendo morbido. Ovviamente non è un tutore di quelli che tiene la caviglia immobile, ma aiuta ad evitare di storgerla inavvertitamente.
