This trail camera was a breeze. It’s nice being able to set up or program a trail camera without even needing to read the directions. The camera comes with a mini SD card already loaded. Takes great detailed pictures and videos.

night vision doesn't work. Batteries die within a week. very disappointed in the product. Was replacing a good camera and thought this would be a good option. I wish I had paid and gotten a good camera to start with. I use this for surveillance around my home. Now I still have to go back and buy a good camera.This was a waste of money.

Easy setup. Good day video. Good night video. Good range of day and night but night video has shorter range. Sensitivity of motion is awesome. What I do not like is… you have to open the camera to turn it off and to remove the memory card. This exposes the inside of the camera to water from rain or dew. The worst complaint I have is it uses a micro memory card. I dropped that tiny thing one time and almost didn’t find it. I prefer the larger chip/cards because you aren’t as likely to lose them in your pocket or in the woods. I purchased “Moultrie, MICRO-32i KIT - 2 PACK CAMERA KIT”, based on the great reviews and this cheap no name camera out performs the Moultrie cameras.

This camera is a pleasure to use and set up. Unlike so many devices recently, this has an intuitive user interface (UI) leading to a relaxing and enjoyable user experience (UX). It’s often the little things that add up to make a winner UX such as the on/test/off switch. All too often, the manufacturer will save $.03 and use one of those abominable multifunction press devices that work like press 3 seconds to turn on, press twice at 2 seconds each to enter test mode and three short presses to turn off.This camera uses a sliding click switch with clearly marked places for each mode indicating the manufacturer respects its customers. I can lose the manual and ten years from now instantly know how to enter various modes. Setup is completely intuitive. I never got frustrated or lost my place or wondered what an entry was and that was before I read the manual. The instructions are clear, written in good English and not only say what a control is but why that control exists.It’s like being transported back in time to when instruction manuals gave instructions on how to get the best out of a product instead of only pointing out the obvious such as, “The On/Off switch turns the unit on and off”. For example, the manual discusses optimizing the use of the camera by altering its sensitivity, time active and field of view so the user has a good shot at the initial setup instead of having to play around for a long time getting the correct settings for where the camera’s placed.In a proof of concept test, I used the included strap to fasten the camera onto a patio pillar to see if the wind would trick the camera into taking undesired shots of foliage. That night had strong winds and hard rain as well. The weather did not faze this camera. It never registered a false reading. I did get a few shots of my wife after dark and included one with this review.I am hard put to tell how happy I am to receive a well thought out device that works well and even has a highly useful manual. It’s about time.

TRAIL CAMERA. I love this little camera. I don't plan to use it for hunting, NEVER. I have a lot of wildlife in my back yard and I love being able to watch them come up for food at night. It is amazing how many little animals are in your yards and you never even know it. I have raccoons, opossum, fox, deer, even a mouse one night. Mine are constantly moving dishes around so I like to see what they are up to. During the day I see all kinds of birds that are looking for leftovers. It is a great little camera to see what is going on in your backyard or wherever. Easy to use and hook up to the computer to see the pictures (my kids do this for me). I love it and definitely recommend it. It is really great if something is going on in your yard and you are not sure what. Just aim it and capture the action the next time they show up. 12/13/2021

set the video length for 20 seconds, after a month, it was taking 5 second videos, went through new batteries in 2 months, I have other cameras with batteries for 18 months
