Love it! Makes great ice cream in about 30 minutes. I wish I’d bought it sooner, my sister has one too and she’s been telling me to get one and I’ve finally got it. My grandchildren love it too, my four grandsons make ice cream every time they visit, the list of flavours is getting longer every time. We find the easiest basic recipe is, 2cups of custard, (readymade or cold homemade) and 1cup of double cream, up to half a cup of sugar to taste, we rarely add sugar. So far we’ve had milk chocolate flavour, just added a tablespoon of drinking chocolate powder to the mix. Dark chocolate, just added half a tablespoon of cocoa powder. Mint chocolate chip, added peppermint flavouring, a few drops of green colouring to the mix and then some crushed mint matchmakers when it was ready. Boozy black cherry in kirch (from a jar) and red colouring. Chocolate and orange (cocoa powder and orange essence) the list is endless! It’s a little fiddly to get the ice cream out of the mixing container but I soon found an easy way for me, it’s a bit noisy but we just close the kitchen door when it’s on and the loud beeping sound lets us know when it’s ready. It comes out frozen but still quite soft so I put it into little heart shaped moulds and open freeze them the turn them into a freezer bag and label and store in the freezer for individual portions and they’re quick to come to a temperature easy to eat.

Great ice cream maker
I couldn’t wait for this ice cream maker to arrive. I already have the plant milk maker from the same company, so i knew the quality would be good. No need to pre-freeze the bowl which was another reason i went for this ice cream machine. Only down side is there is no recipe booklet which was disappointing. Yes there are lots of recipes on the internet but it would have been nice to have had a few basic recipes with the machine. Other than that it is a very well made machine. Easy to clean and makes ice cream in 30 minutes with no pre-freezing. Value for money is excellent. You can also make smoothies so not just for ice cream. Pros: Well made quality product Value for money Easy to clean No pre-freezing required Ice cream in 30 minutes Cons: None really except for the lack of a recipe booklet I would thoroughly recommend this ice cream maker.

good little gadget
easy to use ice cream maker, good price compared to more expensive versions, suits us as we don't use it that often but makes 1 litre in 30minutes which is good

It works
I was semi skeptical because the price was much lower than other ones I had found which were similar. But it works amazing. Thick ice cream ready in 20 mins similar to a thick milkshake consistency. Have only tried two recipes from a separate recipe book I bought as this one doesn’t come with one. BUT they came out perfectly. Put the ice cream in the freezer for an hour for a more scoopable consistency. If overnight it’s solid and needs a little bit of time to soften up. Get cold super quick. Takes up a bit of space and it doesn’t want to be moved around too much. So finding a permanent place for it has been difficult. But if you got a decent sized kitchen shouldn’t be an issue. It’s quieter than I thought as well. I have a separate kitchen so I close the door and don’t know it’s on. If you have open plan it might be annoying but the noise is more a humming noise.

Not 1 litre capacity
This is a very neat machine, offering value for money. However, website describes capacity as 1L, but this is a scant 2/3 litre. Not large enough for our needs, so we returned it.

Great Product
This a a great machine. Tried it out making a Spanish sorbet and then this week some chocolate ice cream. Both super tasty. Think I will try frozen yog next. It is so easy to use, does the job quickly and efficiently. You have to follow the instructions for switching it on PRECISELY or it gets confused and you could fill it a bit more than the 2/3 recommended and there would still be space in the pot. Great addition to the kitchen.

Love THIS Product.. terrible for weightloss!!!
I bought this for my hubby for his birthday... We love it. Does everything it claims, you don't have to freeze anything for hours before using it. Makes AMAZING sorbet, my favourite. So far we have made. Many different sorbets Biscotti ice cream. Oreo for the kids. (and me) Strawberry Yogurt ice cream. (use any flavour of yoghurt and it makes a fantastic flavoured ice cream.) Orange and chocolate Flake ice cream. (This wasn't great, the orange essence was artificial and bitter but that has nothing to do with the machine) Peanut butter (Crunchy and smooth) I didn't like this, but it's hubby's favourite. Coffee and walnut (Hubby) Coffee and raisin me (Yeah, okay, it was edible, not my favourite but loved the raisins in the ice cream. Vanilla and Malteser. Coconut and rum (Not a fan) Anyway, if you are hesitating over that button. Don't. Hit Buy Now. It's brilliant.

I scream you scream everybody scream! UPDATED
Update 19/07/2022. As I got nowhere with the manufacturer regarding spares I took the bull by the horns. Armed with a crosshead screwdriver and a tin of ‘pocket rocket’ lubricant. I set about dismantling the paddle motor head. Six screws layer I had removed the motor from the plastic mounting. The motor spindle seemed locked in position and I feared the worst. But after a liberal amount of ‘pocket rocket’ sprayed into every orifice I could find slowly the shaft began to turn a little easier. Wiping all the overspray away I reassembled the unit and tried it on the machine itself. A laboured screeching came first a screeching that diminished with every turn of the shaft until, once again I was in the business of making ice cream once more! Word to the wise. Should you buy one of these machines. Give the paddle motor a squirt of lube because it would seem there is a shortage at the manufacturers of such basic items. Still two stars for the inconvenience caused and the unwillingness to honour a warranty! UPDATE 16/07/22 Well thats another star lost. They cant supply a replacement motor because…( short version) they cant export due to Brexit aka cant be bothered filling out the export/ customs forms. So now I have a perfectly good ice-cream maker that doesn't churn because of a cheaply built paddle head motor. AVOID UPDATE 29/06/2022 Well, my initial fears have come to pass….the powered paddle head has failed! Dead as a doornail! Used eight times since buying this in January! Definately wouldn’t recommend this…at least for longevity now to contact supplier to see what ( if anything they're going to do about this. Watch this space A nifty little ice cream machine. Simplicity itself to use and does a good job. Easy peasy to clean. Always a bonus! Word to the wise…the churn bucket has a wire handle that gets in the way when transferring the finished product. Until you find out that it can be taken off that is…🤦🏻♂️! Have serious doubts however as to how long the powered churn head gears will last before they give up the ghost and need replacing. Also the churn paddle fixing…. Seems flimsy and rather loose fitting. The paddle itself is of a hard plastic construction driven from a thin spindle from the motorised head; again I have doubts as to how long it will last. Gave it a full house of stars…hope I don't have to downgrade them anytime soon! We shall see.
