I've just made my first batch of ice cream. Does anybody know if the removable parts are dishwasher proof please?

I dont know I always wash the parts by hand

can i make ice cream with whole milk instead of cream with this machine?

The ice-cream maker comes with a recipe book which has recipes that use both cream and milk and cream or milk - so no problem using just whole milk. You can always adapt the recipe to just use whole milk too.
