Can this 8K hdmi cable support 4K@120hz?

My monitor is on 1920x1080 resolution but the cable only allows my monitor to run at 120 hz instead of 144 hz. Why?

When it comes to anything electronics-related, you are only as fast as your slowest component. In order to be able to run at 144 Hz, that means your graphics card (or motherboard if your processor has integrated graphics capability), monitor, and HDMI cable must all support that refresh rate. As someone mentioned before, it's possible your monitor is the bottleneck in this scenario as it only supports up to 120 Hz.

Does this cable support HEAC or HEC???

I didn’t research for those items. I use it for eARC to a 5.1 sound system and it works very well!

is this material cat chew proof? I have a cat that has literally destroyed tons of hdmi cable due to his attraction to them and chewing thru them.

I've owned cats my entire 65 years! I don't know of any flexible material that is Cat Chew proof, but this is pretty strong material.
