Well-Packaged SAS Drives with Outstanding Customer Service
The drives arrived very securely packaged, each one mounted in a caddy and wrapped well, which I appreciated. Physically they were clean and looked well-handled. I ran full diagnostics on all of them after installation, and every drive passed its extended SMART tests and is now running smoothly in my server. There was a small hiccup in the listing details, which prompted me to reach out to the seller for clarification. What really stood out to me, though, was the seller’s communication. They responded the same day... on a weekend, after hours... at around 9:00pm my time and within about two hours of my original message. They were quick, professional, and genuinely willing to help. It’s rare to see that level of responsiveness, and it’s clear they care about making sure their customers have a good experience. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. The drives are performing well, the packaging was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this seller again. PS: For anyone reading this — this review is specifically about the “Dell 4TB HDD SAS 3.5 Inch 7.2K Near Line, 202V7 (Near Line)” product. I often see people buy SAS drives thinking they are interchangeable with SATA. They are not. SAS drives are designed for servers and require a SAS-capable controller; they generally won’t work in standard consumer PCs.

Great value and came new!
Didn’t need the caddy but the drive delivers as expected. I bought this by mistake as I meant to get the 2.5”, this is 3.5”, but I found a spot in the disk array and it powered right up. Speed topped out at 300MB/s but that may be the array more than the disk. Don’t have another 3.5” array to test it on and since it’s SAS, can’t just plug it up to another server. Great value and it came new, I was expecting used!

Dell R730 setup
Great hard drive. Sucks with RAID at a used scope. My R730 kept dropping it on windows until I just made it normal storage under ubuntu then it held. You may a have different expedience.

$160 wasted they sent me a dead hhd
So I just got around to installing my hhd and it does not work. I did the full install and the hard drive will not power up. Thought maybe it was a connection issue so I to l took it to a local repair shop with the connections and they tested evening and said the drive itself was dead. Would not recommend...

Great vendor
These Dell drives were well packaged and already mounted in the caddy. Just inserted and locked in and we’re off the setup RAID. No issues. So I ordered more.
