Be aware that this is NOT a self-priming pump. You'll have to pour some water in a small port until is starts moving the water you are trying to pump, then screw the plug in quickly. This is not something you'll want for everyday use unless you want to start out priming it every time. Trying to run it without priming will result in damage, and I kinda doubt you'll get much in the way of service from the manufacturer located in venezuela. Otherwise, it worked fine for the one small job I gave it. This is more of a "just in case" pump, and the price is suited for that. I have no idea about how well it will last on a long pumping job or other life expectancy. Instructions are sparse, so in case you aren't familiar with pumps, the orfice pointing up is the outlet, and the one in front is the inlet.

We use this to pump fermented wash to our distilling apparatus, I recommend a filter of some sort before it gets to the pump, the one that comes with it is adequate but not the best. Make sure you use the check valve so it does not lose prime.

I never could keep it primed.I was pumping out a 55 gallon drum and it would pump a gallon or two then need primed again. After the tenth time of it loosing suction I called it quits.

Just what was needed. Update: The pump lasted about 15 minutes of continuous use before it locked up. It was pumping pool water. Asked for a refund.

Never worked i had it for months before i tried to use.. I took it out of the box and it does not work.
