LIEKE Carbon Fiber Violin Bow 4/4 Full Size - Black

I was looking for a secondary bow when my primary bow is being serviced and I was curious about carbon fiber bows. I tried some in stores but they were not responsive or felt heavy or felt cheaply made. I ordered this bow because it was cheap and I could return it if I wasn't satisfied but after unboxing and playing with this bow, it definitely exceed my expectations. The weight and balance is right and I don't feel like I lose anything between this bow and my primary bow. The only negatives I could find is that the fit and finish isn't exactly perfect but overall this is a quality bow that I plan on keeping and using beyond a secondary bow.

Very nice and super light can definitely feel the difference among my other bows . I had to rosin it a lot but once it was in y plays beautifully.

The first thing I look for in a bow is how straight it is. This particular bow is straight. It did not come rosined which is normal for a new bow. If you get this bow prepare yourself for a lot of rubbing on rosin. It will not be usable as delivered and normally takes quite a while to apply. The second thing I look for is the camber. Violin bow camber refers to the curve or arc of the bow stick. Although this bow was ok it could have had more arc. The bow hair itself was quite good with no loose hairs. All in all, for the price, this bow is working well for me. I think you should be ok if you get one.

I love the color they say it's purple so you be the judge. It is also extremely light weight and it took me a while to get use to how easy it moves. I was applying to much pressure to it at first trying to compensate for it. But now that's I'm use to it I sometimes don't use enough. Love this bow but would not recommend it for a beginner because it requires so little pressure that a beginner can't feel the weight of the bow while playing and would use it more like a saw. But other than that I love everything about this bow.

This bow costs less then rehairing a bow, so for a player looking for value, it’s great. The quality is impressive for the price. Perfect for a student or a casual hobby player or anyone on a budget. Probably not ideal for the concertmaster or soloist of a big orchestra.

I needed a half size bow for a beginner and didn’t want to spend too much. It seems a bit better than the cheap fiberglass bows that come with beginner kits. The screw is a bit loose and too easy to turn, like it might untighten if someone was bowing vigorously, but that hasn’t been a problem so far at “twinkle twinkle” speeds.

Delivered today, nicely done! Packaging, and speed of delivery from Amazon warehouse met all expectations. This is a nice bow,,,, I rosined lightly and ran it across strings on a MV400,,, Like a bell, sweet sound, smooth. Glad for purchase,, I have another one coming in different size for another violin. Very pleased !!!!!.

Es un arco ligero y resistente, se siente muy cómodo y es elegante

Compré este arco hace 3 años pero no lo use tanto porque no tenía un buen sonido aún cuando ya tenía brea, apenas hice limpieza de arcos y limpié este y decidí darle otra oportunidad, después de haber limpiado las cerdas, dejado secar y volver a aplicar brea el sonido del arco cambió muchísimo para bien, lo he estado utilizando para ensayo.
