I finally maximized the ram in my 15 year old dell xps 400. It came with 512 mBytes of ram..good enuf 15 years ago. 12 years ago, a friend put 1 gbytes in for me..but lately the unit wouldnt even stream youtube. The pc allowed 4 gigs max on 4 pci slots..so i got 4 1 gig chips and installed. Failed at first, i installed all 4 at once, and the pc suffered an error ..i had to load 2 chips at a time, the computer only allows 2 gig change per boot. Installed chips 1 and 2, it was ok, then powered down and installed 3 and 4. I am maxed out on ram, and can watch videos again. Btw..the unit ran winxp, i dumped that and use linux cinnamon now.Its been a few months since installation..the new memory is working well.

I already wrote a seller review, but I'll say this again. The price can't be beat!! Delivery speed was excellent. Packaging was secure and in perfect condition. I had problems with compatibility in the past with some brand name memory sticks before and wasted a lot of money for nothing, because you are not able to return them for refunds. Although these memory sticks only had chips on one side while the Samsung memory in my computer were double sided sticks. I knew that that shouldn't be a big problem, and if anything I might lose a bit of cache. I installed them and turned the computer on, thinking that I would here 3 beeps which would signify a problem with the memory. Much to my delight there was NO beeping sounds. Boot up time was quicker. When my home screen came up I used a free source program called "CPUZ" which gives me all the information about my motherboard, and my memory installed. I was expecting to see the 2 Samsung sticks come up and also some unknown other memory modules. Instead it picked up the fact that the 2 memory sticks that I just purchased were Samsung equivalent. I have quite a few more people that I will be telling about this site. Great product!!

Came in on time and I was able to pop it in to the old computer right away. Tested it and shows up as 3.25gb of ram and I think that’s a limitation on the motherboard. So not bad. I’d buy from them again.

I was initially going to write this as a 1-star... It's been right at one year after purchase and one stick has failed. Bought this RAM for an older Dell Optiplex 320 that I put together for my young son. It served well for normal internet and basic gaming. The failure left the PC hung up on the Blue Dell boot screen.The Lifetime Warranty process is not straightforward (since it's been over a year), however after contacting the seller I had a reply the same day and a replacement shipped. I would buy this again if I hadn't already purchased a different replacement brand.

Bought two kits to fill my 32-bit PC running Windows 7 with 4gb RAM. System will not boot; it crashes in a variety of ways. I tried various combinations, pairings with 2, 3, and 4 modules. I could only get it to boot with 3 of the modules installed. This is an old Dell Dimension 4700, but it should accept 4gb of RAM. It will only work with 3gb.

I am upgrading an E-Machines T5224 and of course memory is one of the easiest ways to upgrade. These went in with no problems and the BIOS showed them after booting up.

This memory worked perfectly to upgrade a very old Dell system. No problems.
