Comfortable and well made
I have been a fan of Eddie bauer pants for years. They have a generous fit for those of us with large hips. They are washer/dryer safe and hold up well. If you remove them from the dryer promptly, they are relatively wrinkle free but even if you let them sit, they iron easily.I am 5'5", 150lb. 29.5" at the smallest part of my waist (which as we all know is not always where the waist band of pants these days fit, but these pants come close). 44"at the largest part of my hips. A size 6 fits me perfectly (I know right? What an ego boost!) Makes me feel slim and sexy and will continue to fit as I travel in my weight loss journey (although I am well aware that if I gain weight, I will need to go up a size (damn me for having 5 kids which means a birthday cake nearly every other month!)

Runs big
I think I should have ordered a size smaller than I did. Size 4 fits but is quite loose. I also don’t like where they hit on my leg, about mid calf, it’s just not flattering on me. They look better if I scrunch up the sides of the legs with the elastic adjusters, but I still don’t love the look. I think I’ll return them and reorder a size 2. They seem good quality. They do make a swishing sound when you move but I don’t really care. For reference I’m 5’4” and roughly 110” lbs. My waist measures 30” and my hips are 37”.Size 2 fits great! I love these now that I have the right size! They are comfortable and don’t fall down like size 4 did on me. I can move and squat and live life and not have to keep hiking up my pants. The better fit of the smaller size is much more flattering on me. I definitely recommend these but if you’re in between sizes definitely size down.(Pictures are of size 4)

Very comfortable
I have bought many pairs of these capris on sale through Eddie Bauer and love them. I have not seen this color until I saw them on Amazon at a really good price. They have some stretch and fit so nicely. Great for hiking and just around the house or town. When new colors come out I will probably get more. They are so comfortable, OH! Also have them in their Guide Pro pants which is just as nice for hiking and everyday wear.

GREAT athletic capris for everyday, golf, travel, hiking, BUT INCONSISTENT SIZING
I am 5'8" about 128 lbs. In bottoms I normally fit in a size 4 (long). The 4 in this item was a little too baggy in the hips and thighs to be attractive, but the waist was perfect. I am an athletic mid-60's gal (gravity prevails). I ordered a size 2 before I returned the 4. The size two fit better everywhere but a little snug at the waist. In a younger person the waist would probably be perfect. I measured the thigh at the level of the crotch and the size 4 was a full inch larger and I returned them. I wore the size 2 for 2 rounds of golf before washing. Extremely comfortable in 72 degree weather and the 2 pockets are VERY handy EDIT: I have since washed these and pulled them out of the dryer still damp allowing me to stretch the waist a little. PERFECT. So I ordered 2 more in blue and navy also in size 2. The legs and butt fit the same as the black BUT the waist is bigger on both. I found myself pulling them up during a golf game today. Bottom line... these are great athletic capris but you may end up frustrated with getting the size right.

All about the comfort
I have this style in size 4 and size 2. I cannot stand anything tight around my midsection and I never ever ever wear elastic. The 4’s rested loose on my small hips and I need a belt to keep them snug enough not to slip down and make the crotch sag. I do wear them and love them. I ordered the size 2 in the camo fabric and oh what a difference a size makes. These fit absolutely perfect. The fabric is very lightweight and cool for hiking. The fabric looks nice for casual around town wear. These are my go-to capris! The only complaint I had with these was the draw cord on the legs. They rubbed and irritated my skin. I had to pull seams out and re-sew the cord’s knot inside the seam. 20 minutes and problem solved. Worth it for these pants. I love them

Nice capris.
Read reviews and many said they ran large. Usually wear size 8 so ordered size 6 and they are very good fit. Nice, comfortable, and easy care.

Good quality, fit
I am 5’7”, 135 lbs, with a smaller tush. These pants (size 4) fit great, snug but not too tight — debated between this size and the size 6. This was a good choice — size 6 would have been too big in the waist. Also like the slightly longer leg (inseam 21 inches) — looks a little better to me than the ones that hit you just directly below the knee cap. Material quality is excellent, and they seem to be well-made and sturdy. I would describe the weight of the fabric as medium lightweight. Not extremely thin, but not so heavy you feel like they might be too hot on a hot day in summer. Planning to wear these hiking on days in 80s or more. I would compare quality to products from Mountain Hardware, North Face, Columbia. Very pleased with my purchase!

Gappiest waist ever
I like the material, and the fit through the hips and legs is perfectly fine (5'6, 130lb, size 8). But I could fit my whole family in the waistband. Other reviewers have noted that the sizing of this item is all over the place, and I believe it. The pair I got fits like a pair of men's jeans -- decidedly not cut for a woman's waist-to-hip ratio. A shame, as the quality seems nice.Nobody is going to put on a belt to go hiking. I wonder why they don't add a bit of elastic in the waist.
