We haven't had them for that long, but so far they seem to work well in both wardrobes and draws!

They're balls of cedar wood. While they're perfectly harmless to be around or hold, if your dog has a chewing habit then they may get an upset stomach after getting their teeth into one. The balls are also small enough that I could imagine them posing a choking hazard.
