I picked up this ULANZI RGB light wand for some extra color and fill lighting in my YouTube videos (@LawnandOrderTexasEdition) and it works great. The color range is huge (2500–9000K), the brightness is solid for a handheld, and the magnetic back is super handy for attaching it to toolboxes, mowers, or shelves while filming. ⚠️ Heads up — the photo in the listing shows two lights, but you only get one in the box. Not a big deal once you know, but it’s worth noting to avoid confusion. Battery life is surprisingly good. These are amazing if used correctly…. We have a restaurant in our community Tuscaloosa Alabama. It’s called Hakkaido. It’s a Japanese sushi hibachi restaurant. Their food is absolutely amazing and deserves to be lit properly. These lights to the trick.

Love the light, the controls and the color change is really easy. My only complaint is the battery doesn't hold a charge. We do not take photos daily or even weekly. If I charge it to full battery at the beginning of the month (say the 1st) - without usage, the light has zero battery by the 10th of the month the battery is depleted. I want to grab and use it immediately - but have to wait to charge it every time.

I bought one of these on a whim. I found it on sale during black Friday. I had no idea how useful it would be. After I found out I bought a second one. To start with, one of these is bright enough to light up a dark room rather nicely. They are rechargeable and can be used while plugged in to charge. They have two attachment points on either end so that they can be mounted on any traditional tripod. They also have a magnet on their back so that you can stick them onto any magnetic surface. The only "wish" I had for these lights is that there was an app to control brightness and color easier than the buttons on the back. How I use them- these things have earned a rather quick place in my car and day pack. I followed up purchasing these with purchasing two poseable tripods so that I can put them on any surface that I want them attached to. I also have a few large capacity battery packs to charge things in emergencies or while I'm out hiking. These lights have a normal battery life of roughly 90 minutes when at full brightness, about two hours when at half brightness. When attached to a battery pack I was able to run both of them for 9+ hours. You could really easily change a tire to the light these put out.

This light wand is great! It has a variety of settings with different effects, from intense to soft. I purchased it to improve the lighting as I am starting to pursue my love of photography, and I have also found some other useful and fun ways to use it as well. It works well even making smartphone videos with really cool effects, etc. This light could be useful even to have in the event of emergency at night or power outage. Keeping one of these in the car emergency kit might be a great use for it. It would also be great to take camping or for using on the beach at night. The magnetic feature is very useful for attaching it to any metal surface. The magnet is strong and the light is small and lightweight and easy to use. We are having a lot of fun with it and it is very functional! Great solid product, very well built!

Don’t let the size fool you. You’ll definitely receive your moneys worth with this compact light. It does so much more than what I purchased it for. You can adjust the temperature of the light from 2500K to 9000K, as well as the brightness levels. There’s 20 different scene modes and the one I can’t wait to try is the TV scene. It’s really cool. You can even adjust the RGB rendering to pretty much any color you want. It also comes with a built in receptacle so that you can screw it on a tripod. At first when I took it out the box, I was disappointed by the size, but honestly.. it’s packing way more than it should to be so small. Way worth it!

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this light. It was more of a whim than with intent. It was pleasantly surprising to find how useful this little light can be for both video and still photography. The adjustable color range is awesome and equally powerful across the range (consistent luminosity). The special affects are a little gimmicky but cute all the same. Very impressed with the build quality as well, solid but light for travel.

After a few days of use I'm very impressed with this light, I opted to get one of these over another square Ulanzi light (I have 4 of those) since they were similar and price. This light is bright even on its lowest settings, the larger light surface allows me to use it as a main light for action figure photography, easy to program settings on the display including more advanced preprogrammed effects, and magnetic with screw attachments on either end are just some of the positives I've encountered so far. Another standout feature for me is the ability to adjust colour saturation. Battery life seems to be quite good as well, obviously it will drain faster on 100% brightness but on lower settings I had it on for hours without issue. It does get a bit warm at high brightness settings.
