Lots of fun and good for hand therapy
I bought this as recommended by my occupational therapist to work on my fine motor skills. My toddler granddaughter spotted it on my shelf and loves to play with it. A win all around.

Great for Fine Motor Control
As a Developmental Therapist, I have found this toy to be useful for my clients who struggle with fine motor control. It's a great intermediate toy stabilizing the item strung (peg) with a mobile string. My clients developed such stable eye-hand coordination, they are now able to string loose beads with ease.

a great way to keep them busy and quiet
I bought this for a friend's 2.5 year old who was taking 5-hour flights. My friend said it kept her busy for quite a while throught their vacation, particularly because of the different activities, was very compact and didn't make noise. My son had used a similar toy (same brand) during therapy sessions and I figured it would be the perfect gift for my friend's daughter. She said it was...

Great Toy, but Watch the Price
My daughter isn't so great at fine motor control so I got this for her. She loves building a "space shuttle" (I think the card looks like a barn, but who cares.) She does a great job because she is so motivated. I am concerned the pad will tear someday, but we haven't had it very long so who knows. The main reason I am writing this review is the price. I put this in my shopping cart while I waited to decide if I wanted it or not. The price fluctuates frequently and by huge amounts. I have seen it cost anywhere from $13+ to over $20. Then it jumps just a short time later. I don't know if this is a temporary issue or not, but you may want to see if the price becomes more favorable in the next few days.

Perfect for wide range of ages.
This is a great activity to keep my 3-year-old busy while I homeschool her big brother. She is my little engineer and loves moving the pegs around, stringing random pegs, etc. She cannot yet understand the pattern cards, but her 5 1/2-year-old brother does them perfectly. I am actually already searching for a more complicated set for them to play together!

Happy with this for fine motor skill work. Five year old enjoys it.
Good for occupational therapy work for fine motor skills which is why we ordered it. Parent probably needs to be handy (which we are for the reason outlined) because it can be a bit frustrating to do.

Great
This is a real good peg board. I liked the threading idea cards a lot, but still have to wait for my kid to be able to do that. The pegs themselves come in attractive bright Colours. They also look like crayons a little. So, my son took to them immediately. He generally takes a while to explore a new toy around, before he plays with them, as they should be played with. The board itself is made of soft foam instead of plastic board, so soft on his hands, peace for me. A big thumbs up from me for this toy. And ya I would and I have already recommended this toy to my friends.

My dad uses these for occupational therapy. They've really helped to improve his dexterity. More cards would be a plus
