Ordered this to apply to chinking, old stuff is starting to crack and pull away. Really helped would order again nicely built, smooth easy pull on the handle; ran with the traffic cone style tip cut open pretty good. Note for cleanup, try not to take tube completely off, it's tricky to get it back over that leather piston plunger

I work as an industrial caulker in California and our company only uses Albion guns. We found that the DL-45 is the best model for repetitive, heavy use, caulking application. To start, the whole gun is simple and has less components to break compared to other brands, the trigger system is heavy duty and can stand the loading process of the most sense of materials. I like the ladder hook compatibility, even though I think the gun is useless without it as it is more difficult to load material with the straight bar it comes with. The leather pistons make for easy loading and cleaning as long as you spray some sort of lubricant (WD-40) in the barrel before each use. It's all steel design means every component of the gun can safely be cleaned with solvent. All around its a good hardworking gun and a great buy if you're in this industry.

I was very disappointed with this company. Aside from the mediocre products, Albion's customer service from the top down (president included), is by far the worst that I've ever dealt with. They put the customer on trial for returning a defective product, blaming the customer for misuse, instead of accepting responsibility of a poorly designed/engineered product. Most importantly, due to their rudeness, disrespect and condescending nature, I would stay clear of this company and their products. I am all around extremely dissatisfied.

Mine came, directly from the Albion Engineering store on Amazon, without any of the parts that go along with it. No nozzles, no adaptor, no ring cap. Messaged Albion only for their President to send a condescending message about how he wouldn't give me anything for free. I didn't ask for anything for free...I actually just asked for the part numbers to make sure I could find the right things that would work. I SHOULD HAVE asked for them for free, but didn't. Anyway, $60 later I have everything I need on order bringing my cost to $160 instead of $100. I definitely will go out of my way to make sure I never use any Albion products again.
