2 Icemaker kits = 1 basement relocation kit
Bottom Line Up Front: If you want to relocate your system (to the basement for example) you can do it but you will lose some pressureI got tired of having the cabinet under the kitchen sink filled with the RO system. I bought two ice maker kits and set up the filtration system in the basement. The extra length of tubing added about 40 feet in total (20 feet each direction) and the added line caused the pressure to drop a bit at the RO faucet at the sink. Water bottles take about twice as long to fill, which I expected given the added line. I installed the two shut off valves in line with the system (city water inlet and clean water outlet- see picture) so I could easily shut off the water when it was time to change the filters. I can now access the system easily and shut off everything when I have to change the filter. In doing the move I found that the black waste hose was too short (because I had shortened it to fit under the sink.) I contacted iSpring and Don Huie helped me get a replacement hose. This is the second home I've installed an iSpring system in. We love our system.I did have to drill a hole in the floor that goes from the cabinet under the sink to the basement area where I placed the filtration system. I had to use about 1 foot long drill bit that was 3/4 inch in diameter to get all the way through the cabinet and the sub floor. The basement is unfinished so I had access to both spaces. Once I had the hole drilled, I straightened a metal coat hanger (the kind you get from the dry cleaners) and taped the two lines to one end of the coat hanger. I put the other end of the coat hanger down the hole and had my son grab the coat hanger and pull it down until he could see the tubes. I then switched places with my son and pulled both tubes down at the same time until they were where I had mounted the system to a stud wall. My son held on to the other two ends of the two lines to make sure I didn't pull them through the hole into the basement.Once we had the lines the right length we used cell phones to agree which line would be the supply and which would be the return by pulling on each line individually. I used a permanent marker to label both lines so I would know which was the supply and which was the return.

Works well, but you may need a pump for your fridge
This kit works as designed, but it should be made clear that before you connect this to your fridge you should make sure your fridge doesn't have any pressure requirements. Low pressure water won't make ice correctly. To solve this I installed an on demand pump (from aquatec) that output water at 60 PSI. That was great but then the water coming out of the water dispenser would pulsate as the pump would cycle on and off. So then I needed to install an accumulator tank. First I tried aquatec and the water tasted like chemicals and now I'm awaiting a SeaFlo tank which someone else recommended.

Good kit, might require additional fittings depending on your project
Amazon’s app sucks and doesn’t save drafts, so after it crashed and lost my previous detailed review, I’ll try to recreate some of it.First of all, this kit has what appear to be quality components. The clips to secure the push-fit fittings are a much better, nicer design than the generic c-clips you get with most others. The compression to push-fit adapter fitting is insanely rare to find. But the instructions weren't kidding that to prevent leaks you’ll need a solid 5 or 6 wraps of Teflon tape—not included. Teflon tape is generally much wider than the compression fittings will take, so just be careful and try to keep it bunched up only on the threads and definitely not obscuring the opening of the fitting at all. It would’ve been nice for them to include a small amount of the correct sized tape. Take shouldn’t be necessary AT ALL for compression fittings, but the adapter fitting is too deep. Someone designed it poorly. It bottoms out on the base of the supply fitting or fridge fitting, ether way, before it can compress the o-ring, so with the Teflon tape in the threads being the only thing between you and a flooded kitchen, you just have to hope the Teflon tape holds up properly over time.I had RO running through the wall to the fridge already anyway, so I replaced the silly braided stainless line with this kit’s 1/4” OD tubing and added my own 90 degree stem elbow fittings and wye to hug the wall better and split the line to plumb in my De'Longhi ESAM3300 Super Automatic Espresso/Coffee Machine that doesn’t have any hardline options from the factory.I’m pleased with this kit overall. I didn’t use all the pieces, and I had to add some other pieces separately for my project.

Happy customer
I’m a happy customer! Enough line was included. I drilled holes inside my cabinets to run it from my sink to the fridge. It took me about 3 hours after making a plan. The setup is fairly intuitive and the instructions are visual.
