I bought this to help with my circadian rhythm after taking a night shift job. I assumed the "sunset simulation" was a feature where the light would dim as it got close to the timer ending and hoped it might work in reverse too, but no it will just abruptly shut off when the timer ends. I think that's only referring to the temperature options? For some reason it's difficult to find one that will gradually get lighter when it turns on too. It's a bit smaller than I expected, but it works and I appreciate the timer since it's recommended to only use it for like 30 minutes for SAD. It can be very bright and i do like the color options. It remembers your color temperature and brightness setting which is nice. The touch buttons are VERY easy to accidentally press though. I'm also not sure if I'm glad that it came with a regular AC plug instead of a USB. The cord is a good length at least. It's also not too light or flimsy feeling 👍

My son came in my room and immediately put his hands in front of his eyes like he was shielding the sun, and said “what kind of light is that?!” He told his wife I found a way to put the sun in my room lol! The only things I don’t like are there’s no on alarm so it starts at a specific time and the buttons on the back are so sensitive that it’s too easy to accidentally change it to one of the other settings that I don’t like. I like it the brightest and I wish there was a way to lock it on the settings I like. I’ll probably buy one that does all the things I want but for now, this still works and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my energy and mood. It’s a quality light for someone who feels better with all day light and it looks great. Small but powerful. I’m happy with the purchase so far.

I work night shift so this was a must buy for me. I find when I turn it on I start to feel better, more energy and improves my mood. There’s multiple slightly different color lights you can select from with a wide selection of brightness as well. It’s easy to use, not too big and works great. I have no complaints.

This lamp has just the right lighting that, at its brightest point, it is like sunlight in my window and with the different settings it actually looks like the sun is setting! Of course there is also white light levels too. I enjoy the ambience when the yellow warms the room in the evening.

While this product meets expectation in context to its intended purpose, it is little more than a large bulb with no stand. The bulb is quite fragile in its construction and relies upon a flattened base that is integral to the bulb itself. I feel compelled to keep it stored in its original box which, in turn, requires me to remove it for each use - I do this while leaving it plugged in as the lamp cord and receptor appear to be flimsy and thus prone to rapid wear with repeated use.
