Do you have any nutriberries variations we are able to purchase without added corn syrup? We were told parrots cant have sugar. Thanks!

Here is the answer directly from the manufacturer: "Excellent question. Parrots are amazing eaters in the wild. They eat fruits, vegetable, bugs and they have even been seen eating animal carcasses. Parrots enjoy a wide range of foods. Some of the fruits they eat are very high in short chain sugars, while others contain more complex carbohydrates (sugars). These are a natural part of a parrot’s diet. The corn syrup in Nutri-Berries is not sweet because it is made of complex carbohydrates. It is part of the diet because it helps the berries hold their round shape. The round shape helps parrot get the foraging exercise that they need every day. Foraging helps prevent birds from getting bored, which can sometimes lead to feather picking behaviors." Thank you for your question! Please continue to buy the freshest Nutri-berries available from BirdDog Depot on Amazon!
