MegaTrue 3PCK Hard Hat 3D Air Mesh Insert Cooling Pad (Microfiber)

If you actually follow the poor directions, and use the photograph as reference, this thing will fit in any hardhat I've ever seen. The microfiber sweatband is awesome, keeps every drop of sweat out of your eyes and feels comfortable all day. The mesh insert part goes on top of your head, between the suspension system and your head. Its comfortable, but the "cooling" effect is negligible. This definitely adds a level of comfort that I love, you get three of them, and you can toss them right in the laundry with your sweaty work shirts. Awesome product, will probably buy 3 more so i can have a fresh one every day!

I had serious issues with sweat dripping down my face, and this took care of it. Keeps me cooler, keeps sweat off my face, and definitely makes the hard hat more comfortable. I'll probably buy more of them, as they get pretty dirty after 1-2 days. Only reason it's 4-star is because these did not fit my hardhat (normal midwest hardhat) - I had to cut the plastic an inch on each hole to make it work. Very easy to do, and worth it to make use of this product.

Like it. Doesn't rub on the scalp like the cross lining in the helmet does.Update months later: moved 50 tubs on uneven terrain with a sh*ty dolley in the middle of summer. Got maybe 3 trickles down my side of my face.Got it initially to stop rubbing my hair off my scalp. Added benefit was the functionality, but doesn't always line up fron helmet to helmet. I just out ut in strap my helmet up and boom.

Front is snap into place, but the rest isn't secured at all. When you take off your hat it flops over in your way. I suppose if you had on your hat all day and didn't take it off, it would suffice fine. It does seem to keep the top of your head a bit cooler and does soak up the sweat.

Did not make my hat cooler. Helped with sweat, but got dirty quick and was not cooling at all.

Bought these do to have to wear a Hard Hat in a Warm environment, Plus wear a Hair Net and Safety Glass - I would sweat all the Time and it would run down my Face and mess up my Glass and just be uncomfortable. These keeps the sweat wear it belongs (on top off my Head) and in the process keeps my head really cool. Best sweat band/cooler I have found and it stays in the Hard Hat really good when removing the Hard hat and putting it back on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

These are amazing for hardhats, I worked in a trash incinerator plant and the plant could sometimes get to 115 degrees. These kept my head cool and kept the sweat out of my eyes. It also keeps your hair from getting matted and keeps your hair from getting pulled out.

Work as described... Not very absorbent like you'd expect though!They do great, and the microfiber headband is a big plus. Easy to get in and out, and are definitely better than just a hard hat. If you're expecting them to absorb alot of sweat you may be disappointed.The band absorbs great, but the rest of it is a very porous foam. It is cool, but you will still have to have a welding cap or something if you're wanting to absorb sweat.
