a game I used to play as a kid
I bought this for my 9yr old Grandson, He loves board games. I had this game as a kid.My son and I played the same game I held onto. after a a few moves my old game was lost.Which I way I purchased this game. Not only is it a fun game, BUT it teaches kids about paying bills. scheduling your month, payday and other expenses we pay in real life. it is a fun game, they are learning and don't even know it.

Super fun underrated game for the entirely family!!!
Excellent game for the entire family! My 8 year old absolutely loves board games. For the last several months we have played Monopoly Jr. multiple times a week and we were looking for something a little more complex but not as time consuming as regular Monopoly. My husband suggested Pay Day game because he had played it as child with his parents and had fond memories. We were very excited to see that it was still being manufactured.Set up is extremely fast and simple and directions are very easy to follow. This is the type of game that really lends itself to learning as you go. You can jump in right with game play and follow the clear and concise directions as the game progresses with no issues. We played through a 3 month round (the directions suggested playing in increments of 2 months or more) in a little under an hour. My 8 year old needed very little guidance but had a really enjoyable time. This really is an outstanding game for the entire family and is definitely our new favorite. The game seems to be very high quality as well. Solid, colorful game board, pieces and money.

I wish it came in rectangular box
This box was a square box so it’s the board that is folded up as a square rather than the old school rectangular folding way. I wish it came as the rectangular box as those boards seem sturdy. Great fun game though.

Grandchildren ask to play this all the time
I love the various aspects of the game that teach them about money handling. There's the payday at the end of the month, the bills that arrive throughout the month, opportunities to invest, loans, birthdays, the cost of playdays, and a bit of probability in the lottery.
